No, they have a hygenist that is very bad with children and has no patience with them at all. He is wonderful but needs to kick the hygenist.

I have been taking both my daughters to see Dr. Simoneaux since they were little girls. One is no longer able to see him since she is now an adult but he gave us a very good recommendation to another dentist who has worked out perfectly. We have remained with Dr. Simoneaux for so long because he was the only fair and honest dentist that we found. When the girls were very young, we were pointed in the direction of another dentist who told me pretty much both of the girls baby teeth were riddled with cavities and the best thing to do was pull the rotten ones, of which I never saw any, and just let their permanent teeth come in. Because of my youngest daughter chipping a tooth in a fall, her PCP recommended Dr. Simoneaux who saw both girls and found no cavities in any of their baby teeth nor have they had one with their adult teeth. Wonderful and as I said honest man. Not trying to earn that all mighty dollar.

He has always been very good to my kids and when we originally looked around at Pediatric Dentists, he recommended keeping a close eye on my daughters teeth and doing fluoride treatments, rather than spend $5000+, that another Pediatric Dentist recommended. He was very conservative, which was good for my daughter who was very fearful. Everything turned out just fine. He said they were baby teeth, that would soon fall out, why do all of the procedures the other dentist wanted to do, and I agreed. Children go back alone, with no parents, and I think this helps with their stress. They don't feed off their parents stress or nerves. We've been very happy with him. He's not real chatty, but neither am I.

Dr. Simoneaux was wonderful with my four year old. He made him feel at ease and was very comfortable with him. My son enjoyed his visit and has no hesitations about going back. The office staff was very helpful as well.

We're so sad that we can't see Dr. Simoneaux anymore, since we've moved to Canada. My two younger daughters, Samantha and Ciara, went to see him from 1999 to 2004, and upon the first visit, they had their pictures taken with him. They still have the pictures! My youngest was a thumb-sucker, and now that she is 6 years old, she no longer sucks her thumb! He told us that there was no rush in MAKING her stop, she would stop when she was ready, and he was right! We love Dr. Simoneaux new office, and love that he still runs his train around the room!

Allthough the office is friendly and nice, I was appauled at how insensitive to my child Dr. Simoneaux was. He said no more than two words to him and then told me to set him down in the chair head in his lap. I suggested he would be less upset if my one and a half year old had the comfort of me being with him in the chair which we had done with great success at another dentist. He insisted with a pompous tone that he knew best after 25 years of experience. I agreed and tried to place my child in the chair he began to get upset and cry and they started to restrain him. I quickly picked him up and told them I didn't feel comfortable with that arrangement and again offered to let him lay on me. he told me children were meant to cry and you can see thier teeth better that way. when I told him I wasn't compfortable with him restraining my child he took off his gloves threw them out and told me he couldn't help me. I felt totally offended that he felt that was the only way to handle a patient. I have never heard of an adult being treated with such disregard for personal feelings. I would never recomend this dentist if you are a parent concerned about long term phycological implications and emotional well being of your child.

Dr. Simoneaux has been treating my children since my oldest was 2, in 1985. He and his staff are great with children, everything from their equipment to their dress and demeanor is geared to children. I cannot imagine taking my children anywhere else. They all have excellent dental health thanks to Dr. Simoneaux. His costs are equivalent to other dentists in the area, and even though he is not a provider for my insurance -- his office always works with me to see that claims are paid.

I cannot say enough about this office and Dr. Simoneaux - he is wonderful! I have a special needs child and he took us in when my son had an emergency infection that could have spread to his brain - we suspected that the infection was caused by a hole in his tooth and this office took us in the day I called - I had called 13 dentists prior! The office is clean and kid - friendly - there is even a train for the kids to enjoy! Everyone was friendly and Dr. Simoneaux is patient, gentle, and good-natured - a wonderful pediatric dentist! We will never go anywhere else!!
