Our foster daughter arrived at age 2 with very serious teeth problems. Dr. Katsura, whom we had known as a the dentist of friends' children, did fabulous pro bono implants of baby teeth for her and has continued to see her. She loves seeing him. The office is very child-friendly, the staff very competent,and he seems to be just a great dentist. He shares an office with my dentist (Lenzi) who is absolutely outstanding. Our daughter has only Medi-Cal which he does not take, so for all care since the implants we pay full price; prices seems reasonable for the quality (but far from cheap!)

Both of my children refuse to go to their previous two dentists for regular check up. After one visit to Dr. Katsura's office, their fear seem to disppear. Dr. Katsura's office is very kids friendly, probably the best in the east bay.

So far this is the only dentist that my kids are willing to go. The office and the doctor is very very kids friendly. Probably the best in the area.

Overall, a very good dentist practice and dentist. Very kid friendly. Just expensive.

top-notch pediatric dentist. bills may add up quickly with high mark-ups on fluoride and x-rays. very gentle with children
