I took my daughter for an exam & noticed that the x-rays are done in the same room all the patients & their families are seen in (there is only one small room with lots of chairs so there is no privacy & is quite chaotic). This was quite concerning as everyone in the room would be exposed to the radiation from the x-rays. I heard Dr. Owens ask a lady if she was pregnant & then offer her a bib to wear to protect her from the radiation. But what about everyone else in the same room? I called his office with my concern & the secretary told me she'd have a technician speak with me. The next thing I knew a very angry sounding Dr. Owens was on the phone yelling at me "Who is this?!" I was quite shaken up by his confrontational, completely unprofessional, angry, aggressive tone. I told him who I was and he defensively told me that they use a "new" kind of x-ray that doesn't use any "chemicals" so there's no need to wear bibs for protection from the radiation. Dr. Owens had clearly had his practice questioned in the past as explosively defensive as he was. His response only reinforced my belief that this is very dangerous to do x-rays like this. I will be steering clear of this office.

We have been to Dr Owens since 2010 we just got a second opinion and the treatment plan that he had given us according to them was not totally necessary two of the teeth he wanted to do work on have the other teeth getting ready to grow in the new dentist has said he will not even have these two teeth in 6 months or less.

Both my daughters have gone to Dr Owens for several years. He and his staff are very good at putting children at ease. My youngest went from needing oral sedation to nitrous oxide to no sedation at all in just a few visits. In addition to regular checkups and cleaning, my eldest successfully completed a three year orthodontic treatment plan with Dr Owens, including some teeth extraction. All visits were professional and as pain free as possible. I highly recommend Dr Owens and all of his staff.

Dr. Owens is absolutely great. He is super with my kids and very pleasant to work with. Wouldn't go to another dentist.

Dr. Owens is the best!! My kids love going to the dentist because the whole place is friendly, safe and thorough. We've lived many places, and visited many dentists, but we've never been cared for by anyone better than Dr. Owens.

The office is clean and very kid friendly with a "wild west" theme. My girls love it there!
Dr Owens came highly recommended to me when I moved to the state 4 yrs ago. It seemed like every other parent I spoke took their children to him.
My 10 yr old dd practically begs to go to the dentist.
He and his staff are all very professional, friendly and approachable.
I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist that you and the kids will love.

He is a very nice man and well find a way to reduce the price and pain for the patient. He also is very gentle, respectful, caring for his patients and tries to find the simplest, most affordable way to get the job done. I would reccommend him to anyone no amtter what age.
