Dr. Griffin is an excellent periodontist. He did three procedures for me - crown lengthening, molar extraction, and dental implant, all were technically well done, and painless. He has a very pleasant bedside manner and the technical quality of his work is superb. Compared to dental procedures I have had done elsewhere, his work is the top of the line and I recommend him very highly for extractions, dental implants, and other procedures. The prosthodontist working with Dr. Griffin in the same office, Dr. Kiho Kang, is also excellent (he did my crowns, and finished the last stage of my dental implant that was surgically implanted by Dr. Griffin).
About Hygienist: The hygeniests in this office are excellent and very nice!

Very well run office. The staff is easy to work with and Dr. Griffin is quite good at what he does. In addition he has an excellent and outstanding bedside manner. He comes highly recommended by his peers. Really no negatives.

I have enjoyed being a patient of Dr. Griffin's for many, many years. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Giffin deserves a 4 star; however he referred me to a general dentist in his office who turned out to be a moonlighter from Tufts and only worked one afternoon per week. She also needed a repeat of "novocaine 101". I also still have nerve pain in that particular tooth which means the cap was not properly inserted.
With a number of caps ahead of me I canceled after the first one.
Dr. G is the best in Periodontal; however, his office is much below competent in general dentistry.
About Hygienist: Mediocre. With dental insurance which pays of 100% of full cleanings 2X per year, Dr. Griffin's office only does Periodontal Cleanings which are at 80% reimbursement.

Dr. Griffin is very honest, forthright, amiable and knowledgeable. I had had a bad experience before w/ a periodontist, and Dr. Griffin was a pleasure to work with following that. He is conservative in approach and avoids unnecessary procedures.
