Dr. Hinton would fix one thing and another thing in my mouth would fail before he could complete the health plan. So I always felt like I had to go back to him because the work needed repair with in five years. I had 15 very expensive dental implants fail at one point or another. The last four implants fell out of my mouth last year attached to the bridge which was to be permanent. Expensive and most of his work is considered cosmetic. I wish I had cut my losses sooner . My advice is to avoid him at all costs or it will cost! Dr. Hinton is all about the money not about the quality of his work. He also is not a good listener and he does not take responsibility for any of the failure of his work. Very poor chair side manners

He charged me for work he did not do and his work I thought he was doing was sent out to either a lab or another dentist. The plate he made for me doesn't fit and it's only two months old. Of nine teeth on my lower, seven caps came off more than once and other dentists fixed them. He is not the number one dentist I thought I had paid for in my eyes or my teeth....I wouldn't recommend him. send me an e-mail if you want more information on my experience with him was if you want to. danna2124@live.com

he does work without asking you then charges you for it. It took a year to have an upper plate that doesn't fit, and to cap nine teeth that any dentist could have done. No....I wouldn't recommend this dentist to others unless they like the sound of Caa ching and no bling. His appointments are too far apart and he sends you out for almost everything.....and depends on the lab, had I not caught the wrong color for my permanent teeth, I would have had teeth that were 3 shades too dark that didn't match my upper plate. His costs are very expensive for what little he does himself. One star for showing up....that's it!

About Front Desk: you can't blame the one making the appointments, they do as they are told. But the scheduling changes are often as Dr. Hinton works more than one office and vacations alot.

I rate Dr. Hinton A++ (excellent). He's awsome, nice and ALL of his assistants are professional and friendly (A++). But, I rate customer service at the Folsom office as poor. Reason: Prior to "every appointment", I receive a phone call saying my appontment must be reschedule because Dr. Hinton won't be in the office, and this makes me wonder WHY wasn't his time blocked-off when my appointment was 1st scheduled. I've begun to feel like 'my time' isn't important due to phoner's take it or leave it attotide; so, I'm thinking of going to another Prosthodontists in hope that when I make an appointment, it will not automatically need to be rescheduled.

About Hygienist: Sabra the hygienist I rate as A++.

I was referred to Dr. Hinton by my family dentist. Dr. Hinton is not cheap - but you do get what you pay for. My front tooth "died", requiring replacement with an implant and Dr. Hinton was responsible for the crown of the implant and the veneer on the other front tooth necessary due to tissue and bone loss. He did a fantastic job - down to matching the color of the teeth. He is an artist. I could have had further work done - stopped only by cost. Note: I did opt to have my teeth bleached by my general dentist - same process for over $100 less. So I would not chose to have him do general dentistry work if you are paying for it.

I presented Dr. HInton with an enormous challenge. My teeth, what I had left, were in awful condition when I first visited him. He designed an amazing set of bridges and crowns. I now love to smile. He's an artist/scientist as well as being a very personable and kind man. I give him very high marks. A++
