Dr Harper is very good, fast, and efficient. Staff is very nice. I have been going to him for 20+ years and continue to do so and will continue to do so in the future. Easy to work with in the insurance area.

I know this doctor: 20+years

Dr. Harper had been my dentist for 15 years... since I was 13. He knew my history and that of my family - all of us with high sensitivity and a strong need to be numbed and that this takes time. He decided to drill once w/o any numbing and hit a nerve causing me a bunch of pain. A year and a half of regular hygien I went in for a needed filling replacement. Turns out I had an unexpected anxiety attack -- something I've never had before. I then received a letter in the mail telling me Dr. Harper could no long treat me and that I should seek treatment elsewhere. He made no attempt to work through or address the issue he created and basically "fired" as a client. He would not talk to me or discuss the issue and had his receptionist Connie very patronizingly tell me I wasn't really "fired" -- that's a nasty word -- he just was refusing to treat me. Prior to this I had no complaints and loved the man but I feel this was entierly unethical and negligent. Apparently the good Doctor doesn't care for difficult situations, even if he has created them. Beware

sorry to be the one to bear bad news. I went to him in september of 2006 for a simple crown, ended up with "traumatic Bell's Palsey" facial paralysis, nerve pain and and the doctors at the hospital said this may not resolve, but thankfully for me it did. I looked like Ichiro slugged me with a home run in the face, bruising for weeks, but the pain was the worst. Now, the problem, I want another dentist to place the crown, I am nervous to have harper give more shots into the pallet, as if he hits that nerve in the pallet again that controls movement it may not ever return! It was so frightening, I could not drink, liquids spill, face gross distorted, and now the biggest problem, he refuses to hand the crown, or even the mold over to another dentist! Two dentist one is my TMJ specialits and he refuses. The problem, the tooth was ground away, so another dentist cannot get a good mold, the temporary one is way too wide, my bite guard will not fit on it, and I am in limbo for months now, my jaw is getting worse, the temp is going to fall out, the opposite side ear is now closed due to the misalignment of the jaw, and all he needs to do is give it to me or the dentist. I have letters to confirm this if you want, help. sherrie

Excellent facility, service, and staff; Office personnel and accommodations were first rate. Dr. Harper is very versed and knowledgeable; he took time to explain the procedures and techniques as well as personally oversee all aspects of my care. Much appreciated.

I have recommended Dr. Harper to everyone I know. There is no better dentist on the planet. Actually, I prefer to call him an artist who happens to apply his skills to dentistry! - Nancy Osborne

Dr. Harper is thorough, knowledgeable and corteous. I've recommended him to a few people. I could not believe him to be the type who'd turn down a patient in severe pain. When I called Dr Harper's office to schedule an emergency appointment, the receptionist refused to do so. When pressured, she referred to our last conversation half a year ago, when I said that, being a single stay-at-home mother, I can no longer afford him, and asked for a referral to a dentist who charges less or is covered by my insurance. Such a converstation has indeed taken place. Dr. Harper then said he did not know of any good dentist that charges less. Me neither, so I never switched dentists; or so I had thought. The irony is that I am not even poor any more; I am a software engineer, back to work now, paid a 6 digit figure; I can afford any dentist at this point in time. I've tried to communicate this fact to the receptionist. However, she kept suggesting that I seek treatment by students, in the university settings. Weird. Even if she did not believe me, can a doctor turn down a patient in that much pain for financial reasons? Weird.

Awesome dentist. Very good monitoring of teeth & gums, conservative approach to treatment, does not recommend a lot of costly procedures. Helps me with my oral hygiene practices over time in a supportive way; hygienist is perfect and never hurts me; no pain during procedures; good bedside manner; efficient. I am very happy with this dentist and his staff, who are very sweet and patient.

The doctor & staff are pleasant. It's not easy to reach them by phone, but they are good about calling back. The facilities are nice and comfortable, but could be cleaner. The work was marvelous, but expensive!
