Dr. Wood is excellent. First dentist to actually be able to work on my long roots. However, his office's business practices are a deal breaker. They told me $200 for a root canal and instead charged me $1000. Too bad my insurance didn't cover it, even though I asked before the procedure. They feel it is the customer's duty to "know their insurance". They due us "a favor" by billing insurance at all. I recommend the dentist, but be prepared to pay more than the front office says. If you can afford it this is a great place. If money is a concern, go some where else.

This guy is top notch, never had such a easy experience getting a root canal. A real pro I recommend him highly.

Dr. Wood probably literally saved my life. When dealing with a problem that no one else could solve (including 4 dentists and 3 ENT doctors), he was one of the few medical professionals who kept trying different things and who was extremely methodical in his problem-solving. He kept narrowing it down until we found the problem. In the process, I had to have two root canals done, but they were both the most pain free I've ever had - there is no reason to fear going to him at all. He has an easy demeanor and a great sense of humor, but is very relaxed and made me very relaxed. I would highly recommend him.

I have had two root canals from Dr. Wood. He immediately put me at ease with his personable, yet professional demeanor.
The shot to numb the area was painless. He explained everything as he went along. The root canal was slightly more complicated as there was a third root. Dr. stopped to let me close my mouth when he knew I needed a break.
The visit was no more traumatic than getting a filling. There was no pain involved during or after the procedure.
The cost of the root canal was slightly less than expected & my insurance covered the cost.
I recommend Dr. Wood and his staff to my friends, family and to the readers.
