I have been to numerous dentists throughout the years. Dr Makishima is very GENTLE and one of the most caring dentist I have ever had. I would not hesitate to refer any friends or family to his office. Before coming to his office I was terrified of getting a root canal. Dr. Makishima put me at ease and the procedure was quick and painless. He is the BOMB
About Hygienist: Dani has been my hygenist and she is the best. She is very through and makes you feel very comfortable

Dr. Makishima is a very caring doctor. He has been taking care of my teeth for over 25 years. I would recommend him to anyone. Especailly if you have a fear of dentists.
About Hygienist: Dr. Makishima's hygienists are very friendly and knows what they are doing.

My husband and I have been patients for about 5 years. While friendly, we have often felt that he was not thorough. While I have very few dental problems, my husband it not so lucky. Among many procedures, Dr. Makishima made him a partial prosthetic device that was very expensive. My husband is unable to wear it.
What has prompted me to write this review is what has happened recently. I had to have a small cavity filled - my first contact with Dr. Makishima. I found him to be unbelievably rough. My mouth was sore for days. That has never happened to me before. My husband has a tooth that needs a root canal and a crown - but the one this dentist want's to work on is not the tooth that hurts. My husband also finding him to be rough.
Needless to say, we are shopping for a new dentist.
About Hygienist: While I do not know the name of the regular hygienist, I would give her the highest rating in all categories.

Craig makes your visit relaxed and social. Hes a great guy, his work is incredible, and painless . I used to hate to go to the dentist but now its a pleasure...His staff are great and attentive...His professionalism speaks for it self in the way you are handled with care and priority and that make for less time consuming visits.....Hell be my dentist till i kick the bucket and he shuold be your too!..........................A.S.Powers

I have been to many dentist in my life time and Dr. Makishima is the best I have ever been to. He is very personable and is through. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist but Dr. Craig Makishima and his wonderful staff make it a lot easier.

I've gone to Dr. Makishima for 15 years. He's always been pleasant and very understanding. He's a wonderful dentist. I'm even taking my children to him. He's one person I would trust to do my dental work with no problem. I had a problem last week and was seen the same day and taken care of. He'd given me my options and took cost into consideration when making the decision since I am without insurance at the moment. Have been very happy with him.
