I have had two root canals done by Dr. Holcomb and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Holcomb is truly an amazing specialist. He is patient and highly responsive to his patients needs. I highly recommend him for any endodontic work. Even if you don't live on the West Side....he is most worth the travel time!

I had a great experience with Dr. Holcolm and his staff. This was due to their unequalled professionalism, awesome creative dental skills and teamwork. Equally awesome are their interpersonal skills. They treated me as a patient and person with respect, courtesy, consideration and caring. This helped to make all the dentistry, especially the root canals, not only painless but actually pleasant! I know that when a whole organization treats patients this way, the BOSS is setting the example.
There are three outstanding results from their care. One is that I have a new set of beautiful teeth, better than I ever had. Second I have a new set of beautiful acquaintances. Third is a happening that none of us could have predicted: By the removal of infected teeth ,my Parkinsons disease symptoms decreased to about 15% of what they had been. My neurologist, Dr. Chippendale, and I agreed that I could go off the medication I had been on for about 8 years. A few weeks later he told me you dont have Parkinsons disease . I think that none of us knows how this came about but I am eternally grateful.

15 year old root canal caused leakage that resulted in two separate apicos over it's lifetime. First one was done by a quack near Christiansburg VA, and it failed miserably. Second was done by top notch guy on Madison Ave in NYC, it failed too. I was going to just remove the tooth and be done with but John convinced me to give it another shot. He did a great job, it healed immeadiately and it looks like it took this time! (it's been about a year so far)
Clearly knows what he's doing and came recommended highly.

Dr. Holcomb is simply the best! I believe he has performed four root canals on my teeth. All the normal important things for a dental office are top notch and in addition he is extremely skilled and efficient - again - he is simply the best.

Dr. Holcomb is highly experienced, doesn't waste time, takes time to answer all q's. Professional chair side manners. Assistant Fahima is also excellent. Office staff - talk to Iris or Suzy.
Entrance leading to office may feel stuffy - don't let that bother you. Individual rooms have nice big window, decor / ambiance. Full payment expected - they will bill for you. Cost is mid - range (1 xray plus consult - $120).
Ample parking on street and paid parking on lot across from street.

Absolutely wonderful!! I've had 2 other root canals done by a different endodontist over 10 years ago (pricing was similar) as well as general practitioners and they pale in comparison to Dr. Holcomb. I've recommended him to others in need and would vouch for him in a second. His office took care of working with Insurance and they were all just really nice. A very pleasant experience for an unpleasant procedure.
