Dr. Shapiro is the best around for root canals and other endodontic procedures. I've been to him several times for root canals and the procedure has been painless every time. I appreciate his scientific approach to diagnosing the problem correctly too!

Dr. Shapiro performed a root canal on my teenage daughter's abcessed tooth. She was in a great deal of pain, but she loved him. He was kind and very concerned. He even gave us his cell phone number!

Dr. Shapiro performed a root canal which became infected a couple of days later. He refused to accept the possibility that it had, and insisted that a second tooth also needed a root canal, despite clear symptoms of an infection rather than a second bad tooth. He performed a second root canal on a perfectly healthy tooth (by his own admission), then charged me for the service and dismissed me, still untreated for the infection, saying that he "didn't know" why I was still in pain, but that it "couldn't be an infection." My own dentist finally had to resolve the situation by changing my antibiotic. Shapiro may be technically proficient, but his level of arrogance and infallibility make him supremely unfit to serve his profession.

Dr Shapiro performed root canals on the front teeth of both of my sons. They were highly successful procedures with little or no pain. I would highly recommend him. Katy Johnson

Dr Shapiro was recommended to us by husband's prosthodontist. Unfortunately, the reason for our visit to Dr. Shapiro was because our son chipped his front tooth. Our initial visit was very positive (as far as these things go). Although he fit us into his schedule, we saw him almost immediately. He was very knowledgeable and confident in his work. This is just the beginning for us, as our son is still so young we want to see how his remaining tooth developes but I feel confident in using Dr. Shapiro.

I only visited him once, being referred by my regular dentist. He worked me in immediately, fixed the problem the regular dentist couldn't and charged a very reasonable amount.

I had seen Dr. Shapiro seven years ago for root canal work and was very satisfied. On a recent Monday morning he took me in on an emergency basis for a toothache. Two hours later I was out of his office with a root canal completed and my problem gone. His work is excellent and he employs up to date technology that is way ahead of what it was seven years ago. Dr. Shapiro's manner is very friendly and put me at ease throughout the entire procedure. I highly recommend him.
