Avoid this most arrogant dentist. He is only interested in money and is completely indifferent to patient suffering.

When I had problems after the root canal he did, his attitude was to schedule appts every few months to see how it was healing and when it wasn't, his attitude was, "What do you want me to do about it? What are you bothering me for?" If you don't understand his rushed explanation, he gets angry. I felt very unwelcomed by him. And BTW, I spoke with my regular dentist about it and then went to get a 3D scan which showed the tooth really needed to be extracted.
About Front Desk: Kona staff. How they can work with that man I have no idea...

Had to have a redo of a root canal due to an infection from previous root canal by another dentist. His office was very helpful in scheduling and Dr. Ching did a fantastic job of fixing it quickly and pain free. The best part is that this time I healed. Thanks Dr. Ching!

I never expected a root canal to go so smoothly. In addition all of my root canals have been a total success. I totally trust Dr. Chings judgment and would likely travel cross country to see him if I ever needed root canal therapy again. I appreciated his professionalism and timely execution of the procedure.

Root canal on a molar, was a re-treatment. Worked out of Dr. Sayers office in Kona. Gave me more shots, and more novacane, than any dentist I've ever been to. Roughest dentist too. So rough, that if he hadn't made me pre-pay, I wouldn't have gone back to let him finish. Sorry I did. He's spent 5 hours on this tooth, still hasn't finished, and I now have LOCK JAW. He told me the lock jaw was a result of having my mouth open so long, I thought his rough treatment might be because he didn't like me, but heard from a church friend that Dr. Ching had just done a root canal on his wife, and that his wife also thought he was the roughest she'd ever had.

If I ever need brain surgery, I would trust him to switch from my teeth to my brain. Outstanding!
