I was recently fitted for a mouth guard for my TMJ and I had broken a tooth repaired. Dr. Kemlage made an onlay in the office while I waited! Best dental procedure I have ever had done by any dentist in my life to date. I would highly recommend Dr. Kemlage and his staff. Very professsional and detail oriented. They have helped me to get over my fear of dental visits. He has cutting edge equipment and knows how to use it to make your dental care experience as pleasant and proactive as possible. You can tell Dr. Kemlage loves what he does and is always trying to improve his knowledge of his craft.

About Hygienist: I have TMJ and really sensitive gums, they take the time and care to be as thorough and gentle as possible. My teeth have been consistently cavity free since starting my preventive care here.

I would recommend Dr Kemlage to all my family and friends. He is gentle, extremely conscientious, and his work is beautiful. I have had many crowns replaced by him, the best part is everything is completed in one visit. His office staff, and his hygienists are friendly and very thorough. My daughter who hadn't been to a dentist for a while also went to him. She couldn't believe how easy and pain free it was.

The best dentist in st. Louis!!!!!! He is very professional and is definitely an expert in his field. I very much recommend his services to all those in the st. Louis area.

Dr. Kemlage and staff are very professional and helpful. I even called them while we were on vacation and they immediatey helped me then saw my daughter upon our return to MO.

Very unprofessional. He is fine unless you ask him a question about something and then his beside manner becomes very unpleasant. He placed several crowns. Some were done well and some were not. Very expensive.

kemlage filled my tooth wrong and left a large gap between teeth that were once tight. he refilled the tooth, but charged me. no warranty for errors on his part, i guess. the refilled tooth still has a large gap and is bothersome.
he also told me and my wife on several visits all our fillings were old, needed replacement and we should have them replaced one at a time. my new dentist says filling last a lifetime and don't need replacement unless there's a problem. unfortunately, my wife had a filling replaced in a good tooth by kemlage because he said it was old. she has pain ever since, about a year.
we use a ppo, aetna. kemlage was 'in network' with our ppo. after years of treatment, suddenly our insurance coverage seemed to be lacking. i kept asking why our bills were so high an if something was wrong with the insurance. i was told no, that kemlage took aetna insurance. finally, i discovered kemlage changed aetna and was no longer 'in network' but still took aetna insurance - so, we were unknowingly paying 'out of network' rates, which are much higher. we had to discover this on our own. the office did not explain to us the coverage change, even when we asked several times on different visits. that seems very greedy.
About Hygienist: all the hygienist are first rate and the equipment is state-of-the-art. the decor is impecable.

Dr. Kemlage is fabulous as his wonderful staff!!!! Our entire family goes to Dr. Kemlage. He is the best dentist we have every used.
