Dr Gerken is the best dentist I have ever had. He has done a filling and an inlay for me. both have exceeded my expectations. His bed side manner is kind and gentle and I felt like he cared about what I was going through.

I have had several treatments with Dr. Gerken. Fillings, crowns, replacement of an old filling, etc. On every occasion, Dr. Gerken has performed a wonderful job. All treatments have been successful, cost has been reasonable and he has always shown a great chair-side manner. The office staff has always been first rate. I have been very happy with Dr. Gerken's work.

I would recommend Dr. Gerken to my friends and/or family.
He explained what and why he was going to do whatever was
needed and always ensure that I had a choice in the treatment.
The cost was explained before the treatment was begun and I do
have dental insurance so I could have gone elsewhere if I had wanted to do so
. I found Dr. Gerken to be an honest professional and has an excellent chair-side manner

I have been to Dr. Gerken several times for various treatments and found him to be informative, professional and gentle. I have also brought my son there and he really likes him as well. I am extremely picky about dentists and I feel like I have found a really GREAT one. I would recommend Dr. Leonard Gerken to anyone. Especially people who have dentist fears. Dr. Gerken is wonderful.

Doctor Gerken did a wonderful job of repairing two of my teeth that had rather large, old fillings that needed crowns. He began with an introduction and background about himself which immediately put me at ease. I was so impressed with Doctor’s in-depth explanation of the upcoming procedure which he continued at every step along the way. He has a wonderful chair-side manner—checking to see if the anesthetic had taken effect, was I doing okay, and presenting directions with humor, like “Chomp, chomp, chomp” when he needed to see if the crown was sitting correctly. When both crowns were done, they were the correct color, size and fit—and best of all gave me no pain. I saw Doctor during my check-up last week; he will be repairing another old filling that has cracked. He is very bright, knows his profession, is compassionate and caring. I recommended Doctor Gerken to my husband who now has him for his dentist and who thinks the world of him also.

I saw and meet Dr. Gerken for the first time on February 4, 2014 . I had him check out my tooth and told him I kept getting food under the crown and between the space of two teeth. I told him the previous doctor had done the crown three different times and I still kept getting food stuck, he examined my mouth took ex-ray and stated that both crowns had spaces between and he would re-do both teeth. Well I went back did the impressions Dr. Gerken explained along what he was going to do and if I needed him to stop to ask a question or any concerns not to hesitate. Dr. Gerken did the work on my teeth and to this date I'm very pleased with the work he has done, I have not had any problems with food getting in between my two teeth or under my crown. I'm very pleased with his professionalism his knowledge the work he did with no pain, his answering questions and most of all he is a friendly person and I look forward to seeing him again, and I have recommended him to co-workers and tell them the work he does is good. Thank You Dr. Gerken for correcting my problem with my teeth which two other doctors in that office and been trying for years, truly I was planning on changing doctors and leaving associated dental.

I have had an on going problem with grinding and clinching my teeth for many years. I have been treated by other dentists but no one as thorough and helpful as Dr. Gerken. He put enamel on several of my teeth and constructed, himself, a strong lower guard to wear whenever necessary. When I saw him again (very recently), he discovered a fracture in one of my teeth. He fixed it with no problem. Dr. Gerken has been nothing but friendly, professional, easy to talk with and very thorough in explaining how to prevent any more problems. Whatever "problems" he had or has in my opinion. have not interfered with his excellent care.

My family switched to doctor Gerkin after having been with another dental practice for 6 years in which the quality of service was always strained. By this I mean appointments were not kept, there was no personal service, you could get any number of dentists without choice.
Dr Gerken has always been not only professional but the only dentist I have ever had that asked me what I was looking to get out of my treatment and how I thought we should approach it. This helped greatly in my busy schedule to ensure that pain was reduced immediately and that the steps were taken to make my teeth less embarrassing. My children and my spouse have all had outstanding personal service beyond any we have had before.
I have had extensive work done and for the first time in 20 years am able to openly smile! He also has always been very open about the procedures and is in my opinion more concerned about the comfort of his patients than any dentist I have ever been to.
Dr. Gerken understands the busy professionals life and accommodates them by being able to complete work on time and in a method respectful of the amount of time available for dental procedures.

Dr. Gerken has been the third dentist my family and I have used since coming to this office.
I have found the staff to be friendly and accommodating to me and my children.
As for Dr. Gerken he has been by far the best dentist we have ever had. His policy has been to use the least intrusive treatment possible and is always more concerned with function rather that aesthetics.
He has been respectful, always explains a treatment fully and has never recommended any treatment that was not necessary.
The review posted here previous to mine describes what I can only label as being the opposite of what me and my family have experienced.
We have recommended Dr. Gerken and this practice to many people including my mother who needed a lot of corrective treatment and has been very pleased as well.
About Front Desk: They have been friendly and accommodating especially with our insurance changing every year.
