Don't waste your money before you read this! I was taken advantage of o first day. Dr Bennett said tmyou need an appliance for next 6 to 12 months. The pressure came next as it costs $2,000 & it needs to be done today. I was so naive I said whatever. I wasn't told of cost or anything. It broke 2.weeks later & I had insurance, bad choice and he said we need to do it asap. I felt like he was ok till it broke within 2 weeks. Because of COVUD 19 I was not able to go. My hubby had a three level bipass right after this. I called and said I feel like I don't need appliance. They told me no matter I owed the money! I am so angry & I would say DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

When I went to Dr. Bennet, my left jaw was locked. I had to tear my food in tiny pieces and poke it between my teeth in order to eat. Dr. Bennett and his staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable, and I was able to open my mouth within a few days. I wore the appliance he made, and eventually, I felt completely normal. Unfortunately, I recently lost the appliance and have had my TMJ flare up. I can't afford to replace it, but that isn't Dr. Bennett's fault. Yes, he's expensive, but his knowledge goes beyond the typical dentist's knowledge. He doesn't take insurance, but his staff will gladly file your insurance so you'll be reimbursed.

He is extremely expensive and I have had little result going monthly for seven months. He is pleasant and personable but my condition has only moderately improved in some areas and degenerated in others. Overall I am disappointed. I went to Dr. Bennett because I was referred by three different doctor/dentists but honestly I wish I had saved my money and stayed home. But when you are desperate and no one knows what to do, you will try anything. I think that is why they are so expensive, because there is little competition and little hope. I will gladly eat my words if the situation turns around and improves.

I have been a patient of Terry Bennetts for 3 years, and I have to say that I am very dissatisfy with his work. When I first went to Dr. Bennett he seemed to be knowledgeable in treating TMJ. I have spent thoundsands of dollars and recieve very little improvement. I had prefectly straight teeth before I allowed Dr. Bennett to treat my TMJ with braces. Now I have teeth that have gaps and root that now touch . When I first starting go to Dr. Bennett he said treatment would take about 9 months. Well here I am 3 years later and no end to the financial burden of his treatment. My advice is do you homework and reseach whom you go to. I am now trying to find someone else who will straighten my teeth and properly treat my TMJ. From an unsatisfied patient.
