I had a crown put on with no root canal performed. The tooth has given me pain for the past couple months. Her solution was to grind the tooth down, due to the fact my bite was off. After the 3rd visit, she made me feel uncomfortable TELLING me there is nothing wrong. I suggested a root canal, but she ignored my request. I still can't chew on the side of the root canal. Her husband also needs a class in custmer service. Do not be rude to your bread and butter.

I had a crown built by Dr. Boen on site and it has never been right. She put in one, and I told her it did not fit and caused pain when chewing. She ground on it and the surrounding teeth to try to force it to fit correctly. That didn't work so she replaced it. Unfortunately, the new one is as bad or worse. I still have continual pain in the area of the crown and my bite is much worse than before she built this crown and installed it. The partial crown she built for another tooth has the exact same problem. My bite is now the worst it has ever been, causing pain in my jaw and teeth. Her answer to my complaints is always to grind off my natural teeth to fit her dental work to the point that I refuse to let her grind my teeth any more. I am now going to find another dentist to help restore a healthy bite and replace this terrible crown. I don't recommend her, even though she and her staff are very nice. She does not pay enough attention to occlusion when she builds new crowns and partials.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Dr. Boen and her dental office for the first time (January 2007). Her office is beautiful and up-to-date. One of the best parts of my first visit was during my exam, she showed me a tooth with a cavity on the computer monitor next to my chair. The digital x-ray was blown up to about 6" x 6". I could easily see the decay the doctor pointed out to me. It was the first time in my life that I wanted a tooth filling. And because of large cavity, Dr. Boen recommended a porcelain filling (she doesn't do mercury/silver fillings). I can't even tell where its located any more. The tooth-colored filling disappeared due to its cosmetic properties. I'm amazed!

I had a super fantastic experience at MK Dental Clinique. Dr. Boen is such a professional. I came in a few months ago as a new patient. I hadn't seen a dentist in years due to my phobia of dentistry. The first appointment was so comprehensive and high-tech. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A week later, the doctor sat with me and went over my treatment plan. I had 4 mercury fillings that needed to be replaced and 5 new cavities. Fortunately, I was able to avoid any root canals. I opted to have 7 porcelain fillings and 2 small tooth-colored fillings. The doctor was able to complete all of these in one appointment. I was amazed to say the least! After a teeth cleaning, I was back in good oral health and this time, I'm staying that way thanks to Dr. Boen.

I got a smile makeover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Boen is terrific!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff were very pleasant and the office looks very clean and updated. I am so happy I found her through my neighbor. Now, I get compliments everyday on my smile and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw Dr. Boen's yellow page ad and she sounded like the right person for me and boy was I right!!!!! She knows her stuff like the back of her hand. My teeth were very yellow and some of the top front were stubby and crooked.
She bleached my teeth in her office. Then she placed 6 porcelain veneers on my top front teeth. Awesome job!!!!!!! Now they look better than when I was 16. I couldn't even dream this good. Thank you Dr. Boen. And oh yeah...you staff kicks butt.

Dr. Boen and her staff are incredible! Dr. Boen is so nice and talented. Her office has a huge plasma screen in the reception area showing patient dental education video. Dr. Boen's office has all the latest technology such as laser, digital x-rays, computers next to the dental chairs, and this fantastic machine that makes porcelain crowns and fillings in about an hour! I made an appointment because I saw her full page ad in the yellow pages and then visited her beautiful website. She does everything!!! She even does implants, braces and invisalign. But I went there for 8 veneers on my upper front teeth. After an exam, teeth cleaning and a couple of porcelain fillings, Dr. Boen worked on my veneers. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! They can out better than what I expected - and I expected a lot. She's my dentist for life.
