I met with Dr. Schop today as I am new to the dental office. He listened to my concern about my tooth pain and was able to fill the cavity the same day using Nitrous so I was totally relaxed. Good experience~!

I've had crown work done, an old filling removed, peridontal cleaning there. Office staff has been great and Dr. Schop really cares about his patients. It's obvious.

About Hygienist: Excellent

I had the worst ever experience in my life with this dentist. He was unprofessional, unethical, and rude. He did NOT listen to my concerns and was sloppy when it came to the exam. He refussed to finish the exam and could not provide a proper treatment plan. The secretary was told four different times to correct the estimate for the work I was having done and still managed to screw that up. Patient/doctor confidentiality is not enforced in this office either. The staff stands around and listens to all the patients concerns when being seen by the doctor. He is only in the office two days a week so emergencies are out. I would never refer this dentist to ANYONE I know for any reason.

About Hygienist: His hygienist smelled of alcohol and had no clue how to do a proper mold of an individuals mouth.

I know this doctor: a month

Dr Schop runs a wonderful dental practise. I am incredibly impressed at how kind and friendly his staff are. I am a full time graduate student and don't have insurance. They constantly kept me up to date with the cost of all the procedures. I have Ameriplan and I found the prices of the procedures to be very reasonable. Dr Schop himself was very kind, considerate and respectful. He informed me which procedures I should take care of straight away, but also suggested that other things (like wisdom teeth removal) could wait for a few years until I was better-off financially. I highly recommend this dentist. I just wish that I had found Dr Schop four years ago - I could have avoided many an unpleasant visit to other Tucson dentists during the interim.

Hey y'all. I'm coming to terms with this dentist over my wish for implants. I can't believe anyone could leave his care in tears! Sure, I was a little ruffled once when my appointment was set aside to accommodate an emergency appointment. (Instead of receiving my impressions, I am handed a service agreement to look over and sign--byebye.) But know that he's a serious contender among dentists and runs a very tight ship with his staff. Just listen to him direct them! Tears? Perhaps I was misty eyed when he made a time out to show me on his laptop computer how my (missing) teeth would be replaced in an implant procedure. My wife, a beyond caucasian kinda gal, agrees that Dr. Schop is a "thinker" by comparison with those typically cold medical practitioners. Now I don't know if he'll come through with a lowest bid for my project--I'm still sniffing round--but his advice remains impeccable. I am convinced--no middle name pun intended--that if you hire him, you will get nothing but caring service and he'll be fair and square. Will he check you out and speak his mind? Of course. This is where the crier may have expected pampering instead of honesty. You go and decide for yourself. He's a keeper! I say trust your own judgment.

Dr. Schop and his dental assistant were very rude and they wasted a great deal of my time. The experience that I had was very stressful. I left Dr. Schop's office in tears. And I'm not the only one who feels this way, I have talked to other patient and staff.

Dr. Schop is a wonderful dentist. His staff is so wonderful and corteous. I found going to the dentist to be a very good experience this time around. I learned so much about my teeth from his hygenist.
