I saw Dr. Stone for a fractured jaw. I was in a lot of pain. His staff took x-rays and he manipulated my lower jaw, which really hurt. On my second visit he was very pleased at how well my jaw was recovering. He said wiring my jaw would not be necessary. I saw him a third time and he said everything looked great and he did not need to see me again. His staff is friendly and helpful, and scheduling an appointment when it was more convenient for me was not a problem. I definitely recommend Dr. Stone.

About Front Desk: Dr. Stone's staff were very nice and helpful. Scheduling an appointment was very easy.

Both my sons had their wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Stone within 18 months of each other and our experience could not have been better. Dr. Stone was friendly and easy to talk to. He explained the procedures in detail and made my sons and I feel at ease. The procedure went very well and there were no complications. Both the doctor and his staff were extremely attentive and post op instructions were explained in detail before they were discharged. The doctor himself called us that evening each time to make sure my sons were doing well post surgery and went on to explain post op instructions once again. I would highly recommend Dr. Stone to anyone in need of an oral surgeon!

About Front Desk: Easy to make appointments. Insurance benefits and copays were explained in detail. Warm, courteous staff.

Referred to Dr.stone and from entry through the door to meeting Dr. Stone was nerve reckoning due to the fact I don't like dentist chair for my fear of needles and just plain having a tooth remove. I can honestly say my experience here was excellent and unreal, very professional staff and the doctor himself extremely caring towards my fear and anxiety in his office and chair. Had an extraction of my wisdom tooth with the worst part being the numbing process. I would absolutely refer this office to a friend.

STAY AWAY. Not only was this the most horrifying experience of my life, but Ira Stone was a total jerk. Yelled at me to get my heart rate down before the procedure or he wouldn't do it. I woke up mid surgery, terrified, and he yelled at me again, "if I give you any more i'll kill you" I left their office shoed out the back door with blood on my face still. On top of everything it turns out they submitted misc codes to my insurance company like "99 misc medical supplies" that they do not cover and I had to pay it in full. They also over collected on the estimate because they said insurance didn't cover part of the anesthesia. I had memorial insurance at the time...they know what it does and does not cover. I was completely scammed and powerless. Insurance companies have agreed upon pricing with doctors office so there is little the doctor can do to scam the insurance company. This was his way of collecting extra money from patients and taking advantage. On top of everything the office staff was horrible. I requested by bill several times with which they WITHHELD. they collected extra money just so they could bill the misc codes and keep the rest of my co-payment. I hope no one else has to go through what I went through.

About Front Desk: Awful. They are rude, and do dirty business just like their Doctor does. Doctor Offices should be run like a business and they are not. Not only that but they are not held accountable to anyone. Hopefully this will prevent other patients from getting ripped off and treated as poorly as I was.

Dr. Stone was unable to perform the scheduled procedure on my husband due to his inability to insert an IV for anesthesia. Dr. Stone was rude and insulting, probably due to his frustration. The appointment was for 9:00 am, but we were kept waiting until 9:40 am with no explanation as to why. Having had nothing to eat or drink for 9-10 hours prior to the appointment, this makes a difference. A client's and/or patient's time has value as well, although perhaps not $500.00 per 1/2 hour. In total, we paid Dr. Stone $595.00 for 2 brief appointments and virtually no procedure performed.
