I was sent to Dr. Michael Schwartz by my Endodontist for emergency Extraction and Bone graft. Never had this done so fearful. The staff was so kind. I was fit in but did not wait long. So relieved and surprised to find this Oral Surgeon so kind, funny, empathetic. He explained everything in detail to me. His assistant is incredible. I wish he could be my dentist for everything. I could not believe how flawless he did the extraction and my bone graft. Without a doubt Dr. Schwartz is so bright, down to earth, truly cares about his patients, so dedicated, and seemingly flawless in oral surgery. If you are terrified of extractions, Dr. Schwartz is calm, patient, caring - just the best!!

About Front Desk: Everyone made me feel at ease. Even helped me fill out the computer medical forms. The staff is like a well oiled machine. Very professional and so friendly. Loved that they all dressed the same with adorable Oriole surgical caps!! Great team.

My dentist for a root canal and crown coordinated with Dr Schwartz to meet me in his office at 6:30AM to administer sedation for the procedure. I have severe dental phobia and my dentist and Dr Schwartz had me laughing and was sound asleep in seconds. Woke up and it was allover. It was a breeze with Dr Schwartz and Dr Trattner(my dentist). No one gave me a hard time or said anything about my phobia. They handled me beautifully. Both called that evening to check on me. Would definitely have these 2 again. Expensive but well worth it.

About Front Desk: did not have any contact with the front desk. Everything was arranged dentist to dentist

This is the worst doctor on the planet. People are just open mouths to him - mouths full of money. He mis diagnosed me then gave me the wrong medication. Thank God I lived to write this.

About Front Desk: Fine.

I would not recommend Dr. Schwartz. Or any surgeon in this practice. I waited an hour on 2 occassions for my appointment. This is totally disrespecrful to the patient. There are plenty of dentists that are respectful.

The dentist at this practice apply their craft professionally and with skill; however, the billing personnell is lacking in communicating what aspects of your treatment will be covered by insurance and what aspect will be out-of-pocket. I was given two options of anesthesia to have my Wisdom Teeth extracted. One, Twilight (which consisted of a Pre-Med liquid and Nitrous Oxide); or, two, General Anesthesia. I elected Twilight based on the Doctor's reccommendation. The problem was that no one ever explained, not the doctor or the Medical Biller, that the $185 Pre-Med would not be covered by my insurance. I thought that it would have been and would not have elected to pay $185 for a literal sip of anesthsia normally given to children under the age of 12 to eleviate anixety. When I got the Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company, I felt duped that no one informed me that the Pre-Med would be denied coverage when everyone at the practice knew that it would be.... So my gripe with Dr. Schwartz's Practice is they assume that patients understand the nuances Medical Billing as well as they do.

Dr Schwartz is an amazing surgeon!! He also has great bed side manners. He performed a dental implant years ago and a bone graft. It was such a sucess that he is going to do another one soon. He recently surgically removed a tooth which went so well that I was pain free. I cannot say enough about him. If your looking for the best, go check him out.
