Terrible Experience. He should not deal with people. His hand tremors, making for a terrifying experience. His work left me with an infection and he's nowhere to be found.

About Front Desk: Front desk staff was extremely courteous

I went in for an extraction. I wish I would have read the reviews first! He was insulting and RUDE and agressive with the pulling and did not care enough about patient satisfaction. Time to retire!!!!!!!!! I must say, he got it out and afterwards it healed ok.

About Front Desk: They were alright.

My Experience: Extraction

Dr Cox extracted my back rt 1st molar. during the procedure he was extremely rough and aggressive. I was not pleased with the initial procedure but the fact that I got dry socket was the main reason for my negative review. I went back in to the office for treatment and have never had a such a terrible experience at any dentist. He shoved packing down its my open wound and instructed me to rinse. I almost fainted when I got up and had to sit in the outer lobby to avoid passing out. I called back 30 minutes later with extreme pain and was blown off. I will never go back and am going to a different dentist to complete my aftercare for the extraction. I would tell anyone to run if they are considering this dentist. Horrible experience.

About Front Desk: The staff is stiff and do not care. I was told by the front desk person when calling back in pain, that she had never had a situation where the packing did not completely relieve someone's pain and I was meant to feel stupid and weak for being in pain and concerned about infection.

He is one of the rudest dentists I have ever seen..I had 2 teeth pulled and his assistant I was with was very nice but as soon as he walked in didn't bother saying hi or talking to me at all. I am not a big fan of dentists so it's hard to relax and he made it so much worse. When I had complications he told me to man up and deal with the pain. it was the worst 2 weeks of my life worse then when I got my wisdom teeth removed. he doesn't believe in treating pain or having any relationship with patients, just get in and out as fast as you can because god forbid you ask a question and bother him. He has some pictures of celebrities on wall so maybe that's why he thinks he walks on water. I hope he has a medical problem someday and his doctor treats him as he treats his victims I mean patients

About Front Desk: Very nice on phone, but face to face was bad. Was asking questions about insurance benefits and she would just look at me as I was stupid and should have known everything. I would never go back or recommend anyone here.

Dr. Cox is the absolute best !!! We have had several appointments with his office and it is pain free every time. I just love him and his staff, I wish he did General Denistry as well.

About Front Desk: The staff at this office is very professional and knowledgeable. It's also comforting to see the same girls there year after year.

Dr. Cox has removed wisdom teeth for 3 of my children. Every experience has gone exactly as scheduled and without problems. The customer service was excellent, cost was reasonable, and I will trust him to handle my 4 child's teeth.

I would not recommend this doctor. Aside from not being friendly at all, he is a very poor business person. His front office called me on a Friday, a day before my daughter's graduation, to set up an appointment for her to have her wisdom teeth pulled. After getting home from school that afternoon, I told her that she was to get her wisdom teeth pulled the following Monday morning. She said she could not have it done that day because she and some friends had already made post graduation plans. I tried to call them back to reschedule, but they were closed. Even though I called at 4:45 PM, the message that I got when I called said that they closed at 5:00 PM. Having obviously decided to take off early, I couldn't reach them to tell them the appointment had to be changed. When I called again the following week to reschedule, I was told since she missed her initial appointment, she was dropped as a patient, and that Dr Cox would not see her again. A very nice way to do business, right? Not my fault that they decided to take off early where I could not reach them to reschedule. So I found another doctor for my daughter. And this one is actually very pleasant to be around. Definitely a big plus!

About Front Desk: The front desk told me that they had called and left numerous messages trying to get in touch with me. Very interesting since I do not have an answering machine! Now, were they calling the wrong number, or were they lying? I have a feeling it was the latter.

Dr. Cox pulled a back tooth. My insurance would not pay for complete sedation because it was only 1 tooth. I experienced no pain at all. He was very professional and put me completely at ease. I highly recommend using Dr. Cox and his staff

Thanks Doc!! Wisdom teeth removed at 50. Painful couple of days after but that's not the Doc's fault.

Had wisdom teeth pulled. Procedure was painless. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone nice. Didn't take long Was NOT told what to expect on pain or how to know if any of the sockets had become dry sockets - extremely painful. Follow up call: when explained pain was only told "well should get better" - "other patients from earlier that day aren't hurting that much". On return visit on 4th day - found out it was dry socket and they took care of it. SHOULD have been told how to know, so I could have gone back sooner for help. Cost about $1000 for 4 teeth, sedation, etc. and follow-up visits.
