I'm not sure how to explain in a short space the level of respect I have for Dr. Dillard. She, time and time again, made me comfortable in an otherwise stressful situation. There's a level of stress and anxiety that comes with the drilling, blasting, and having another person(s) hands in your mouth-not with Dr. Dillard. She and her assistant, Emily, were both more concerned about my comfort than their time. That behavior stands out to me in this world of commercial dentistry where getting you in and out with as many unneeded services as possible is the norm. Of course the work was top notch as expected from this dentist. I had filling touch-ups on my entire front-facing pallet (worth noting I opted to get fillings for cosmetic reasons as oppose to veneers or implants). After looking in the mirror, my teeth look amazing-like I had expensive veneer work done even though they were only fillings. Dr. Dillard's skill is unmatched. I will also add that I appreciate that Dr. Dillard has the respect for me to talk to me in a direct and kind manner; the "professional" demeanor comes off very pretentious and pedantic in my day to day life, so it's refreshing to have someone like Dr. Dillard that I can trust.

About Front Desk: I didn't have a lot of interaction with the two ladies at the front desk, which makes the warm smiles and greetings they gave me even better. They were quick to help and make things happen. The brunette made a funny joke about my balance that played on a question I asked on my visit to get my teeth cleaned a few days prior (they offerred to do the work same-day, but I had a scheduling conflict and couldn't stay). I thought that was pretty special that she knew exactly who I was, and was quick to the trigger to know my personality enough to make me laugh.

About Hygienist: My Hygeinist was Sara. She is an absolute pleasure to be around. Her humor (what I like to call "dad jokes") instantly made my anxiety and stress leave me. Getting my teeth cleaned is a lot less stressful than having drilling done, but nonetheless is an odd and anxious experience that Sara made very pleasurable. Also, her taste in décor is absolutely phenomenal. Being a cat person myself, I can appreciate the amount of unique ways to express her love for them. Like Dr. Dillard, Sara spoke to me with respect and kindness without the frills added. This really speaks a lot to me about one's character. I have known her for a while now since I've been going to this office for several years, but every time I go, she renews my level of trust, credence, and respect I have for this staff. I can't speak highly enough about how amazing this woman is. Going to the dentist is stressful (as we all know), but from the perspective of a first-time interaction to a long-term relationship, I know that I can trust her to not abuse her role with the advice and recommendations she gives me along with the assurances that come from her professional position. I am truly lucky to have someone like Sara in my life in this world of uncertainty, dishonesty, and fabrication we all experience every day. Sara's work was very precise. She even let me pick what I wanted to watch on her TV! When I looked in the mirror, there was a noticeable difference in color (not that I have bad dental hygiene), and a feeling that I can only describe as "very clean". My mouth felt great afterwards, and she even gave me a new toothbrush. One last thing I want to add is her attention to detail. The work detail, of course, was top notch, but I want to point out how she showed her concern and was empathetic to the signs of grimace I expressed when something sensitive was touched. This is just another example of her candid, professional proficiency at her job.
