Dr. Crockarell has been my dentist for 21 years. I met Dr. Crockarell when no one else in the Hermitage, Mt Juliet, Lebanon area would touch me. I was 21 years old. At the age of 18 I had suffered a severe trauma in an abusive relationship that caused me to lose one of my upper front tooth 3 years later by way of a severe abscess. Imagine being a 21 year old young woman who had found the courage to leave an abusive husband, lost 87 lbs, and was feeling pretty good about yourself for the first time in too long and then losing your front tooth.
Dr. Crockarell was a Godsend. He was patient, compassionate, and concerned about the longevity of the repair as well as of the look of the repair. He did an implant along with multiple bone grafts over about a 9 month period of time. Over the years, I had zero complications with the implant and no one ever guessed it was not my natural tooth. As I got older, the bone loss from the trauma was just too great and could not stand up to the aging process and the implant eventually had to be removed. By this time, Doc had stopped doing implants and even though he referred me to several folks to get another done, there was just no way I could let anyone do but Doc. So I wore a "temporary flapper" for entirely too many years. Finally, my 2014 resolution was to get my tooth fixed no matter what.
I am pleased to say, I received my permanent bridge from Dr. Crockarell today and I cannot stop crying tears of joy. This man is an amazing dentist. He will not let you suffer, he does not want to do anything to cause you pain and he will do whatever it takes to ensure it is as painfree as possible. Outside of being a fabulous dentist, Doc is a wonderful man. I have known him for 21 years and I pray it is for at least 21 more. He is not just my dentist, he is my friend. I am so lucky that all of those years ago, no one would touch me and a dentist in Hermitage had the sense and wherewithal to get a hold of Doc on Friday, a day when his office is normally closed. His hygienist' are gentle and caring. The atmosphere in this office is like none I have ever experienced before.
If you need a dentist, go see him, you will never regret it.
