Took too many x rays. Found out after he had taken without notifing me first as I am a parent. My daughter told me after the unnecessary X-rays were taken. I was never notified.

Dr. Secord's work is good quality, but the fees are GROSSLY EXCESSIVE! I will admit, I have been late at time(s) paying for my daughter's braces, but I have PAID over $1800.00 cash and 2 DENTAL plans have been billed and I STILL owe him $1620.00.
I am seeking justification from his ACCOUNTANT or may need to ask the COURTS to help resolve this excessive monetary hike.

After being with Dr. Secord for more than 5 years and having to go through many stages of orthodontia, I got braces on 3 years ago for the second time. He wanted to take my braces off when my teeth weren't even straight because he thought they were done. The staff there are very young girls (most in their late 20s) and have no respect for their patients. Every time I went they would get mad at someone for a silly thing in front of everyone and embarass the patient. They looked,acted, and treated their patients like snobs. Long story short, I was very disappointed, and after 3 years of Dr. Secord trying to fix my mouth with braces, so I got the braces removed and went someplace else. I would not recommend that you go to him. I did, however, have a hard case to deal with, but it was definately too much for him to handle/comprehend. Had he been more upfront about it, that this was too much for him to handle, it would have saved me 3 plus years of lost orthodontia work and a ton of money, considering if I go somewhere else to get braces from a different orthodontist, we will have to pay all over again.

dr. secord is assertive yet friendly. he makes you feel comfortable and knowledgable as he describes your treatment plan or proceedure during your visit. his staff is kind, helpful and flexible with my needs not just theirs. billing is a breeze for them and my copays can be paid in advance or in payments ... there is no pressure, guilt or attitude. the girls in the office make you feel like you are the only one there and the only one that matters during your appointment time. at first you think they are a young staff, but they know what they are doing and they do it well ... dr. secord is amazing ... he has developed a successful team and i would recommend everyone see him atleast once for a consult before making a life changing choices. also, his office is comfortable if you have other family members with you ... my son is a patient and i believe we made the right choice for him and our family.

I am 9 and I am just starting to get my spreader and stuff and the office on Mack Ave. is suite! I really like all the arcade games and tecnolegy.

Dr. Secord is a skilled orthodontist whose work DRAMATICALLY impacted my daughter's entire face. I sincerely believe that his work has altered her entire appearance for the better.
My only complaint is that I recommended his office so strongly to two different friends and it seems that as his practice grows his personal doctor-to-parent consultation meetings (which I so appreciated) have fallen by the wayside.

I would highly recommend Dr. Secord to anyone needing orthodontic care. He is very pleasant and profession. His staff is friendly and professional. He explains everything thoroughly and his appointments run on time.

In the end it worked out fine, however the cost and the length of the procedure was more than it could have been
