My Review of Dr. Donald Kubicki
I had adult braces put on. It's been two years now and almost time to have them removed. Dr kubicki has done an excellent job at straighting my teeth. One thing I can say is........he takes his time and doesn't cut corners. He is determined to make my teeth as straight as possible. I give him an A+ on that. One downfall is that he doesn't explain what he is doing. I supposed this is because he is more used to working with children. I need to asked him at each appointment about what he is doing. H e then explains things. If you do decide to go to him be sure to have one of the staff explain to you the differences in all of the types of braces. Dr Kubicki prefers to use the metal braces and will automatically use them if you don't ask. They are probably the best, less expensive but are not very attractive. If you want you teeth done correctly then he's the one to go to. you do need to ask questions on your own. Also, he has interest free credit and it is easy to schedule appointments.

My child had issues with a tooth that wouldn't come in and a narrow jaw. The first round of opinions we got all said he should have teeth pulled to make room for the one that wouldn't come down -- then braces, etc., all costing $$$$$. I didn't want my child to go through that. My dh family had gone that route and they still had terrible teeth and lingering issues into adulthood. We spoke with Dr. Kubicki and he recommended an expander to give the tooth room to come down, no pulling teeth! He was priced far more reasonably than the others too. MUCH SUCCESS with this plan! My child loves going into the office (they get to play video games while work is done) and enjoys earning prizes for following the care plan. AWESOME.

I was told my son needed braces because he has an extra front tooth. Once the extra tooth was pulled, his front tooth came in quickly & pretty straight due to the retainer he wore for less than a year. My insurance & I were billed for braces because that's what we were told he needed. Now I go in every yr. for follow up. My 12 yr old son's teeth are not perfect , so braces may be necessary after all the baby teeth are gone. I would rate Dr. Kubicki as average. Front staff is great.
