Completely positive experience. My son had braces with Dr. Wooley years ago, and my daughter will go to him in a few years when he feels she is ready. Professional, practical, knows what he is doing.

I went into treatment at the age of 53. Having teeth that are sensetive to cold and fear of dental proceedures, I was very surprised that during the entire treatment time it was pain free. Everyone was so gentle. Each step was explained thoroughly to me before it happened. This helped calm me down.
I will be forever grateful to Dr. Wooley and his team for taking such good care with me.

I went to Dr Wooley's office on the advice of my dentist's staff. I had a bonded retainer which had failed. I stated my needs very carefully at the outset, but I think Dr Wooley is used to treating children and not used to listening to patients' wants or needs. I asked to have a tooth moved slightly and for a new bonded retainer.
After he determined my treatment complete he said that the active retainer he used was not suited to my request and then refused to replace the bonded retainer. When I reminded him of my original requirements, he became irritated, just as he had when I requested he adjust the fit of the active retainer during the course of treatment.

Staff seem less experienced than they should be. Difficult to obtain treatments when needed. Does not refer to other providers when immediate treatment is needed.

Both of my kids are patients of Dr. Wooley's, and their treatment has gone very well. He has a location in downtown Portland and in Milwaukie, which is very convenient. The only downside are no extended hours, but most single practitioner offices don't.
