Read Reviews for Dr. Ralph Grant
Stay away from this Orthodontist.I was recommended to him by my dentist for braces to correct an overbite. It's common knowledge that braces should only be left on the teeth for a maximum of 2 years.Mine were left on for 4-5 years resulting in permanent damage to my teeth. If I'd known this sooner,I would have sued but now it's too late. Also,I have a crossbite and was never even informed about it and nothing was done to correct it and it's now causing problems in my jaw/neck and entire skeletal system(jaw misalignment, atlas subluxation, and scoliosis)and guess what?I still have an overbite.I would have been better off just not ever seeing him in the first place. He did more harm to my mouth than good for thousands of dollars.I'm now seeing a new (Holistic) dentist and am glad I made the switch.
About Front Desk: Front desk staff is OK but that doesn't matter when the orthodontist ruins your teeth.

Our family's experience with Dr. Grant can be described as nothing short of completely horrendous. He's very rarely in the office and places his own convenience over that of the patient, often postponing appointments. My daughter was supposed to get her braces off in less than two years, and now it has been almost four. He refuses to give us straight answers about the treatment or when he WILL take them off... all in all, a nightmare.

I love him and his staff. They are nice and they always make me feel comfortable. Dr. Grant and staff make the expensive prices worth it, because I know that I am being taken care of. I love how Dr. Grant is always singing and is always happy. This is Kayla collier and I love Dr. Grant I would teel everyone to go to him. He is awesome!!!!!

No down payment, pay in office. Bad communication between staff and patients/parents. Dr Grant typically is not available to stop and talk about your childs treatment. Although, they are on time and efficient at their job, they lack good PR skills and compassion.

Payment plan is helpful. Customer service is questionable, the young girls that work up front can be unprofessional. The reception area is dated. Chair side manners varies. Dr Grant is cool but he has so many patients that you really don't get that personal touch. Billing was at times inconsistant

Overall, Dr. Grant is successful in the final product. Getting there is not easy. Of almost two years of seeing him, my child has had approximately 2 regular appts after which she did not need one or more emergency visits for wires poking, breaking, etc. Even the office agreed that at no time was she at fault. He refuses to take appts after 3:00 p.m., even in case of emergency. At times, there has been blood involved where wires have broken or pulled out, causing bleeding from the cheek or gum, and the office STILL will not see the patient after 3:00. We have missed tremendous amounts of school/work for these. With these issues, treatment time is obviously extended. Friends have used cheaper places with similar, and in some cases better, overall results and exceptionally fewer problems during treatment. I ultimately ended up buying my own set of tools to fix the problems my child walked out of the office with which became apparent just hours after the appointment.

Overall experience has been pleasant. Cost is high, but you get what you pay for.
