I took my daughter to a few different orthos and found Dr. Cohlmia to be the best and the most reasonably priced. Kid friendly and seemed to be the most knowledgeable by far. I'm not one to make a quick decision, but during our first consult I chose him for my daughter. Starting braces with Dr. Cohlmia in a week.

Dr. Cohlmia is a conservative orthodontist and won't prescribe a treatment unless there's a sound reason. I was recommended to him 9 years ago when my 7 year old was instructed by his then dentist and another orhodontist to get an expander and braces. I was leery, and Dr. Cohlmia confirmed my suspicion that the better action was to wait. I trust his experienced assessments and will soon have child #3 getting his services.

All 3 of my children have been treated by Dr. Cohlmia. He and his staff always explain everything and have very nice. I was and am still very happy with the results from the treatment my children received there.

My child is in treatment with Dr. Cohlmia. I am highly displeased. He is rough with my child, quick to anger regarding particles found in braces, and the least bit gentle. I absolutely will not refer friends or family to this office.

Is great with small children (age 9). Set expectations ahead of time. Explained to daughter what she needs to do for successful treatment in terms she can understand. He explained how things worked and what should would feel during and after treatment. She has had great results.
I did not mark extremely cheap because no orthodontist is extremely cheap. But his rates were reasonable and he has stuck with the initial estimated cost with no additional surprises. :)
