I took my 7 year old daughter to Dr. Lake after another orthodontist refused to work with her any more due to her anxiety and subsequent power struggles. Dr Lake and his team did a wonderful job of working with her, calming her fears, and allowing things to happen at her pace whenever possible. She was assigned a particular assistant, Tammy, who is amazing and the whole process went very smoothly. When there was an occasional problem and my daughter had a meltdown, the staff was patient, understanding, and stayed incredibly calm, allowing my daughter to then calm down and feel safe. I highly recommend Dr. Lake and his team!

This guy genuinely cares about each of my kids. He is kind and thoughtful/conservative about treatment, which I love (and which saves us money). He has been my kids' orthodontist for 6 years. The office is clean, comfortable and the staff is extremely caring and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lake's office.

Dr Lake is one of the most caring professionals our family has ever gone to. He cares for his patients and his work is superb. His office staff is very pleasant and the overall experience is excellent. My three children all went to Dr Lake.

I went to Dr. Lake for a consultation. I work in an industry where I could not be seen as a metal mouth and expressed that clearly. I also made it very clear that cost was not an issue. When you are spending that much money on work, your needs should be met.
Specifically, I was interested in invisalign and was slightly dispointed when he said I would not qualify and didn't even suggest any other options! Dr. Lake had one solution,metal, He made me question my self-confidence and implied that if I did not do it his way, I would never have a "pretty smile." The woman who took my dental photos offered more insight that Dr. Lake did. She suggested clear ones, though she said he'd only do them ontop. She also alluded to the fact that I never thought about it before because my smile was fine just that it could be improved. His staff was great and they should work for a better dentist.
I went to a second opinion, and the orthodontist offered me several different solutions one of which I was satisfied with (linguals ontop and ceramic braces on the bottom). In this day and age, you have to adapt with technology and it is CLEAR that Dr. Lake is behind.

Dr. Lake was recommended to me very highly by my friend Kari. The office is beautiful and relaxing, and the customer service is excellent! Kari's teeth are beautiful, I have admired them enviously many times, and I look forward to seeing what mine will look like when my treatment is completed!

I had a lengthy bout with orthodontics that included having a fair number of teeth pulled. I also had an expander, braces, bands -- the whole she-bang. Dr. Lake is a really great guy who knows his stuff. The hygiene staff is wonderful and kept my pain to a minimum. The front desk is also great. And my smile? It looks like a million bucks.

My experience with Dr. Lake has been very positive. I have had braces for nearly 2 years and will complete the treatment later this year. From all of my interactions with Dr. Lake, I have found that he takes time to listen to the concerns expressed by his patients. I also greatly appreciate his thoughtful and conservative approach to decision-making. Even though I have not completed the treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Lake and am confident that when the braces are removed that I will be happy with the results.
Dr. Lake's staff members are well trained and it's encouraging when I see the same group of people visit after visit. Additionally, the office set-up fosters a team environment. All of the patient chairs are in one open area which at first I thought was a bit odd, however, it didn't take long to realize the benefits. Now I actually prefer this type of layout.
As for cost, I'm not sure where Dr. Lake falls on the spectrum. Although braces are expensive and insurance (usually) doesn't cover much of the cost, I didn't want the price to be a motivating factor. It was more important to find a highly competent and trustworthy orthodontist, which I believe portrays Dr. Lake.
