I took my baby in because she had a dark spot on the back of her tooth and her gums were irritated. He misidentified the tooth I was concerned about (no, it's the one with the giant black spot on the back) and told me it just had an extremely white spot, which made the rest look dark. I tried to point out the dark spot on the back but (without looking at it again) he told me it was nothing to worry about. A couple of weeks later, half of it broke off and you could see the nerve. Turns out it was abscessed, and at that point, super brittle. Took her to another dentist where it was removed in several tiny pieces. I wish he had spent more than time looking at it, which I know is hard with an uncooperative baby, but at least give it another look when the parent tries to point something out. Could have saved her weeks of pain. He was a nice guy, but I'm not going back.

my wife took my 4 year old to this doctor for a routine exam and dental x-rays, worst experience ever, I will think twice before taking my son to any doctor now.

after almost 15 years of using Dr. Hayutin off and on for our childrens dental needs he sent my overlooked bill of 65$ to an attorney for collection ,refusing to settle for one dime less than 150$ within 2 days from my contacting the attorney.This oversite happened because I had spent the last 6 months in cancer treatment,which "Dr.Dave" completely disregarded...concerned only with padding his wallet at my expense! Oh well,I"m sure he needs our grocery money more than we do.If you want a dentist with moral fiber stay clear of this one!!!

My child was seen by Dr Hayutin: I was told we needed to get 4 root canals and 4 crowns. I prepaid for my portion of the services before the good Dr would even touch my child. At Childrens Hospital, without consultation, Dr Hayutin did 8 root canals, and 8 crowns, and pulled 4 teeth. I was in the waiting room the whole time with no word that my childs mouth was being reduced to metal. After the surgery I was informed that I owed another $1000, all out of pocket. I was unemployed, no payments accepted under $275 a month. now we are currently having my husbands paycheck garnished $1000 a month (final bill $1600). We are looking at eviction over this, I am making a formal complaint the the Co State Dental Board. This is an awful little man, terrible with my kids, they were afraid of him, he was careless, did not listen to their concerns, greedy and aggressive, DO NOT USE HIM

I have known Dr. David ( how my girl calls him )for 4 years now. He is great with kids. He is wonderful for our family and we trust his expertise.

Both of my children go to Dr. Dave and we love him and his staff. My daughter had to get several fillings and at the age of 4 her first shot. Dr. Dave was wonderful with her and she didn't even realize she received a shot....completely pain free and stress free for Mom!

Dr Hayutin previously was a good pediatric dentist, but he does not seem to relate to small children anymore. He doesn't explain traumatic procedures and then when the child reacts to pain or fear, the doctor doesn't understand and expects adult reasoning.
I do not reccommend this dentist at this point.

Wouldn't take our children anywhere else. We've been with him for several years, and thi kids love him too.
