Read Reviews for Dr. Paul Broring
Dr. Broring was excellent with my two young children, very careful and gentle. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why, and also offered advice and tips for cavity-avoidance. His office was spotless and relaxing. I was surprised by the cost, but if you go off your insurance plan, well, that's what you get.

My son used to go to Dr. Dana Greenwald. On our last appointment, we were not allowed to go in with my son and were asked to leave when we insisted. It turned out to be the best thing ever happened to us. We were very lucky to find Dr. Paul Broring on washingtonian.com, and the difference was night and day. Dr. B's office is very low key and small, a real family practice. He is very relaxed and kind with my son. He invites everybody into his office. He explains everything first, respects the child's feeling and answers all his questions. He is quick but laid back, chatting with my son through all the procedures, making dentistry with children look like a friendly visit to an uncle. He even does the routine cleanings himself. He is watchful with my son's teeth but does not jump into any filling/crowning unless neccessary. In 2 years (when my son was 3-5 years old), Dr. Greenwald did thousands of dollars of dental work on my son. Since we starting seeing Dr. B 3 years ago, my son had one filling. My overall feeling is that in Dr. B's office, it is all about my son, which is exactly what I want and what I am paying for. In comparision, In Dr. Dana Greenwald's office, I feel it is all about her and her big diva production.
