Due to errors by their front office staff, numerous procedures were not covered by insurance or the claims were filed incorrectly. I've been trying to resolve these over the last year, as I shouldn't have had to pay a cent, and yet there's a bill for $1K that they're sending me. The business manager is awful. He doesn't return phone calls, promises to look into a billing issue and never follows up, and is just a generally incompetent business person.
Stay away!

She is patient and takes the time to explain each procedure before we do it. Answers questions on my level.
About Hygienist: She had a bad hygeniest who only lasted a few months. Since then all have been very nice,

She requested payment up front for procedure which included removing impacted wisdom teeth, after being paid, she did not remove the wisdom teeth saying they where too deep. She opted to trade the money paid for a teeth whitening. Four years later I receive billings totaling 700.00 with no explanation. I have disputed these charges in writing requesting all "Media" contracts, procedures, payments etc. to justify these billings. They do not comply with Federal or State laws concerning disputed accounts, and continue to send bills demanding payment for work previously paid in full, and disputed, with a demand to stop contacting us concerning the account.I would NOT RECOMMEND this practice to anyone.

Good service, businesslike (very little chatting), and very good at minimizing pain. Last year, Dr. Chen installed a crown on a molar which had decay very close to the nerve. She was able to save the tooth and the nerve. The crown has been rock solid.
The x-ray equipment and other dental facilities are adequate, but they don't appear to be as up to date as those of most other dentists in the area.
The cost for services is the only downside. She increased prices from last year to this year by a little more the 25% so that her prices are now at the high end.

I had one wisdom tooth extraction and a filling, and they were very considerate of my comfort level and satisfaction with the final product. We also had my daughter's molars sealed, which was a quick and painless process. They have always billed the insurance for us. One billing error was quickly cleared up with a single phone call.
About Hygienist: Dr. Chen's office has done the routine cleanings for my husband and I, as well as 3 of my children. We have been satisfied with the cleanings. The staff keeps the kids relaxed and seem to enjoy working with them. A movie is always offered to them, as well as a prize on their way out.

Dr. Chen was very kind with my children. My 7 year old daughter had been so spooked by the last time we went to the dentist (over two years ago!) that I hadn't even tried to make her go to another one (naughty mom!)
She was a champ through the whole visit today and was very proud of her shiny, clean teeth when everything was done. Dr. Chen was straight forward with her, but not in a scary way. She helped take the mystery and spookiness out of a dental visit!

dr. chen is wonderful with children! she relieves their anxiety. treatment is painless, if my children felt pain all they had to do was raise their left hand and she would stop and numb them more so there was no pain. my 12 year son was terrified of dentists, but he loves dr. chen and will see only her!!

New and modern facitily! Latest dental equipment, video ed library. Great for children, includes games and fun videos! Good service, great staff.
