Dr. DeHart is the king of the pediatric dentist world. We were referred to him over 14 years ago when my nephew went to him to have a tooth repaired. They did not have any dental insurance and he was very reasonable and kind. Our 5 children absolutely LOVE going to see him. We have been in every financial and medical situation in the past 12 years (100% coverage insurance, no insurance, no cavities, needing dental surgery) and have always been so happy. His office and staff are so kid friendly. They all treat us like family. Dr. DeHart is so kind to the children and puts them at ease. He praises them for taking care of their teeth but doesn't shame the kids (or parents) when there is a problem. If we moved out of state I think I would still travel to Utah twice a year just to have our kids see him.

LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!! Hands down the best ped. Dentist in Salt Lake. He truly loves children and what he is doing. I was sad to leave when we moved to Nebraska. Try him out, you will not be disappointed!!

Terriffic dentist, one of the best. My children love going to the dentist now whereas before they feared a visit to the dentist

So Awesome....great with children. He is very gentle and won't push it. His goal is to make the dental office as enjoyable as possible so that the kids will want to come back again....and they do!

Hands down the best chair-side manner I have EVER seen for children. This man is just great with the kids and absolutely LOVES what he is doing. There have also been several instances where he could have charged me for a procedure and instead saved me A LOT of money. For example, my daughter broke her tooth all the way down the middle on New Year's Day. I called him and we both thought the tooth would have to be pulled (she was 6 and it was a baby tooth). When he looked at her xray, he saw the adult tooth was coming in underneath it anyway, so just let it fall out by itself and save ourselves 250.00! He was spot on. Another time, another daughter's cemented in retainer popped off on Christmas Eve night, and he met us in the office to fix it! We just have been very, very impressed. The office is excellent as well with great facilities for the kids!
