If I would have posted a review from Dr. Ricks a few months ago, it would have been fiarly positive. I had a bad experience with a rude office clerk. My wife had an appointment on a Monday morning. She fell sick on the Sunday prior to her appointment. She called on Monday morning, right when the office opened, to cancel her appointment. The clerk was extremely rude and tried to have her reconsider coming in for her appointment. I went in for an appointment the following day. When I finished up, and headed to the counter, the same rude clerk asked for a $20 cancellation fee. I asked her if anyone in the office worked over the weekend, taking cancellation notices. She said no. To which I responded "if you want to chase me off over $20, that's fine." I gave her $20 and left. My wife called today to confirm her rescheduled appointment. The same clerk said that they no longer want to see my wife. This seems strange to me, and petty. I didn't want my wife to go back anyway. Couldn't they have called my wife and told her that they didn't want to see her again? Do they think that they "got me back" by cancelling my wife without telling her? Strange business sense. Dr. Ricks is an okay dentist. His staff is poor.
