Read Reviews for Dr. Jeffery Freedman
Dr Freedman treated me in his Lexington location. I had gum surgery which was complicated by bleeding. He worked with the problem until eventually had to send me to someone who did laser treatment in the hope that it would cauterize and stop the blood. This didn't work either, but his concern and commitment to find a solution was good. The procedure itself was uncomfortable, and he and his staff did their best to make it a non-nerve wrecking experience, but somehow their ideas of support (chatty, friendly) backfire with me.
Unfortunately, I am very nervous about dentists and have a bad relationship with my teeth as a result; he became extremely nervous after all the complications and that added to my anxiety. He and his staff try to "give me control" by offering new ways of flossing on me every time I visit. This feels like being constantly reprimanded.
I have seen that other patients are very happy with him, and with his staff.. they all seem to have a very cheery response to each other. I would recommend him and his practice, but not for someone with a history of dental phobia.
