Read Reviews for Dr. Noshir Mehta
Office staff is caring and helpful. Surgery/treatment while successful was definitely more than expected or informed ...physically, financially and emotionally. Doctor is skilled but sometimes abrupt and needs to work on listening skills and ability to empathize. No hand holding here, just the facts. Ultimately, despite efforts to continue realized that it was all about the numbers and had to look elsewhere to continue treatment.

Dr Metha is the director at the Tufts pain center, which has been renamed a half dozen times. If they don't know what to name their center--do they know what their dealing with?Do they care? It claims it is the larges center treating craniofacial problems in the states. Be assured that no matter what, you will indeed be sold a splint. He was my team director--I had 28 of my own teeth, I have none now and thanks to Dr Metha and Dean Lonnie Norris---they messed up my face and life "too technically complicated nature of my dental problems that Tufts is unequipped to treat you" I remain so messed up that no dentist has been willing to provide any care. The price? All for over 100,000 dollars and everything I own; plus years of indentured servitude...Stay away...

Noshir Mehta and the Tufts Gelb Center for TMJ is the worst facility I have been to. As a patient, you get shuffled around between residents and dentists rarely seeing the same person more than once. Noshir Mehta is in the office maybe 15 minutes every other Tuesday if you're lucky. The stress and anxiety of an office visit here is extremely high. You can be left waiting over an hour to pay for your visit. Remember, you're just a research tool for Dr. Mehta's staff. He could care less that you're a paying patient. There are other TMJ dentists in the Boston area. Go to one of those if you're smart.
