Read Reviews for Dr. David Wong
I visited Dr. Wong for diagnosis of gum disease. Dr. Wong’s clinical impression was Cicatricial Pemphigoid, a rare auto-immune disease. Dr. Wong did not do the correct biopsy for this disease, resulting in a false negative pathology report that said that I only had inflammation. Dr. Wong advised that I return to my dentist and get my teeth cleaned every 3 months although he knew that this was not the solution for the condition of my gums. He offered no advice on how I could get a diagnosis. I found another doctor who knew how to do the biopsy, and I was correctly diagnosed with Cicatricial Pemphagoid. If Dr. Wong did not know how to do a biopsy for the disease that he suspected, he should have looked it up or referred me to another doctor with knowledge of Cicatricial Pemphagoid. This care was not worth the $643 that I paid to Dr. Wong.

All I can say is "Wow" about this new dental office... I am soo glad my dentist referred me to Dr. Wong... he is knowledgeable and caring and really listened to my needs. I was very concerned about losing my teeth, and was relieved that he took the time to talk to me. He also has the latest technology (lasers, digital xrays) so I felt I was in good hands. My dentist told me that Dr. Wong is the only board-certified periodontist in Tulsa, so that was comforting too. While gum surgery is still gum surgery, and I hope to never need it again, I won't hesitate to go back! Thanks to my dentist for the perfect recommendation!
About Front Desk: Jacquel is the best! I couldn't get an appointment with Dr. Wong for 6 weeks but she called me at the first available opening, which was a week later... so thoughtful!

I was referred to Dr. Wong after I had a gum graft fail by another doctor. Although Dr. Wong was not in my insurance network, it was worth every penny and didn't cost near as much as I had expected. I've never met a dentist more thorough and understanding to my needs... best bed-side manner EVER. The best part? My insurance still covered a majority of his fee, so I was worried about money for nothing. And his new office location is probably the nicest dental office I've ever been to... highly recommended

I was referred to Dr. Wong by my general practice dentist to assess and treat a painful and extremely abcessed tooth. Dr. Wong performed a procedure in an attempt to save my tooth but the tooth was cracked and the infection had spread to my jaw bone. He explained in detail why it was not possible to save my tooth. Dr. Wong subsequently performed an extraction and bone graft in preparation of a dental implant. Prior to both procedures he meticulously explained what I should expect during and after each visit. The extraction and the bone graft were both successful and relatively pain-free. I am to return in mid-February for an implantation procedure. I could not be more pleased with the treatment that I have received and the attention from Dr. Wong and his staff.
