Read Reviews for Dr. Theresa Keefe
Dr. Keefe performed full mouth x-rays and oral cancer screening. She then falsified my dental records at least 3 times by writing that my bone, root tips and oral cancer screenings were normal when clearly they were not. She failed to tell me that I had an ulcer in my jawbone (an extraction site that had failed to heal seven months after extraction), though she did take a photo of it for her own records but never showed it to me. She then covered the ulcer up with a cosmetic bridge with post and core containing 78% nickel plus beryllium, which are IARC Group 1 carcinogens. She put the post and core into a tooth that had root resorption (another sign of oral/bone cancer). When my jawbone began to swell up several months later, she told me that I would never be able to prove that I had cancer in my jawbone. She said that only "whackos" think their dental work is making them sick. Her husband is an oncologist and she mentored with the head of oral pathology at UConn in dental oncology, and I was from then on blacklisted from all oncologists and oral surgeons in the area. While the cosmetic result was good, I would not trust this dentist at all and I would never recommend her to others.
