Read Reviews for Dr. Rodney Shivers
I have been a successful patient of Dr. Shivers for a long time...maybe 5 or so years. I know his staff and have successfully had mine and my families dental work done at this office. I highly recommend him for family dentistry. If you need some other type of dental work done call him and ask who he recommends you use. I do not hesitate to say he is one of the best dentist I know. My insurance also is taken at his office.
Thank You

I have known Dr. Shivers both personally and professionally for ten years now. He is a wonderful, ethical and professional dentist. I have referred many friends to him and they have continued to see him over the years. I know Dr. Shivers to be an honest business man who puts family first. I highly recommend him to anyone of any age. His office staff are first rate as well! Norma always greets me with a smile and by first name-I love this office! -Nichole

Dr. Shivers has been my dentist for 11 years (he is the only dentist my 3 Kids have ever seen professionally). I have always been very pleased with all aspects of his practice (my kids love him!). I travel up to the Northwest side of Oklahoma City from Norman (where he used to practice) simply because I absolutely did not want to change dentists.

Rodney did a root canal on me a few years back.
I was really bummed when he left Norman.
For me to laugh while this guy had his hands in my head for an hour speaks pretty highly of his bedside manner.
I think he's a great guy, professional, and haven't had a lick of trouble with his work.

It is hard enough to get kids to like going to the dentist - don't need an experience like this to scar them for life! I decided to switch dentist due to location and convenience and have learned my lesson at my daughter expense. I took my daughter to Dr Shivers to have some work done on her teeth. I had brought the records from a wonder dentist. His records were detailed and showed Dr Shivers what needed to be done. However Dr Shivers decided to over look and take the easy road. She needed to have a small root canal but instead what she got was silver filling put in over an already infected area. I took my daughter home and as soon as the mouth came UN- numb she started crying that her tooth hurt. I thought maybe it was just sore but after being up all night with her I call Dr Shivers and explained she was complaining of pain and assured me she was fine just give it another day. I myself am not a Dr so I did wait and had another night full of crying....So when I called first thing that morning I begged them to see her. I told them I would bring her in at at anytime. They told me they did not have room today to bring her the next morning so again we had a long painful night. lilacrossfield@hotmail.com

I changed dentists due to conveince. I brought in medical records from a past doctor that said my daughter needed a root canal. Dr. Shivers then took the easy way and filled a tooth when he should have done a mild root canal. He said that she was lying when she cried out in pain. Three days later she went to another doctor who immediatly said the tooth need pulled and now she will have to have a spacer until she is 13. He was rude, yelled and me and my family and I would not recommend him for treatment on animals, let alone people.
