Dr. Blisko is wonderful. I had a bad-fitting crown from another terrible practice which wasn't able to maintain consistent staff and I needed someone I could count on to finish the work. Dr. Blisko made a new crown for a nominal cost and it is beautiful looking, well matched to my teeth (unlike the other, which was the wrong color) and perfect fitting. He was comforting and wonderful. Thanks Dr. Blisko!

Dr. Blisko has been very professional and explain every procedure to me. i have always been fearful of the dentist and Dr Blisko has been extremely sensitive to my problem. his work has been excellent has well. I also can only speak highly of his support staff.

when i went to dr. blisko he told be i had cross fibers in my mouth and that was causing the sensitivety in my mouth. he gave me 2 or 3 shots so that he could do a deep cleaning w/o my being in pain. i felt nothing. he certainly won me over because my previous doctor made me sit there while she gave me no anastesia and i was jumping out of the seat. she said ' that's ok' totally oblivious to the pain i was experiencing. de blisko wasn't like that. i'll be returning for another deep cleaning and a night guard as well and i'm sure i'll be very satisfied with that. i had a night guard made by my other dentis and it's sitting in a draw because it wasn't fitted correctly. thumbs up! dr blisko. you're the best!

I've never written a review, but feel compelled because I was treated unethically by Dr. Blisko. I went in for a cleaning and check-up. Usually these take 30-45 minutes at least. Dr. Blisko entered the room, and used a whirring drill on my gums (leaving bleading wounds all over my mouth). Then he used an electric brush. No flossing or scraping, as is normal. He held up my tiny x-rays to the light and said "No cavities, you can go." The appointment lasted 11 minutes long. I am stunned that a dentist would speed through an appointment just to make cash like this. If you are looking for a dentist, try the 42nd street dentist--teachers/UFT members are covered there and they are amazing. I can understand sometimes dentists are very busy, but the office was empty when this occurred (1/5/10). Dr. Blisko should acquire some ethics or retire.
About Hygienist: OK--professional and skilled, but poor bedside manner. She just put the x-ray pads in my mouth without saying anything, left the room silently and didn't come back!

I like this guy as they are very quick there. I really dislike going to the dentist so it's a nice change from having to sit for a long time. The service is done well and they seem to do a thorough job so I'm happy with him.

Dr. Blisko's office is old and poorly maintained.
The x ray equipment is not digital
On my first visit he charged my insurance for a cleaning that was never performed.
When a cap fell off my back molar I visited Dr. Blisko a week later. He told me that the cap would not fit and that he would have to make a new cap. While fitting the new cap he damaged the tooth and I now have to have a root canal.
If you have any other options do not go to this dentist.

He takes my insurance plan which was the most important. He gets straight to the point, medium bedside manner. Pleasant front desk.

I was impressed with this dentist as I usually have a hard time with dentists in general. The visit was a general cleaning and check-up. I was out of there within the hour with very little stress.

Dr. Blisko is very accomodating and helpful. I had an emergency and had a change in insurance and he still saw me as well as took care of my broken tooth.
