Limited oral evaluation; Comprehensive exam. He was nice until I decided to get my tooth extracted and implant from an oral surgeon. He said that oral surgeons have a reputation for being "abrupt." I brought up another specialist, and he emphasized how the specialist was very expensive and was not very experienced in root canals. The dentist that he criticized has been voted one of the best dentists in Arizona. When I complained to Dr. Destry about his rude receptionist, Selena, he blamed me and became very angry at me for giving him negative feedback about his receptionist. She was rude to me two times about estimates, once about getting the x-ray to my specialists, once about my getting an estimate for a $790 night guard and I repeatedly had to ask her for an itemized receipt of my expenses. Dr. Destry had very little empathy for me once he found out that I would not have him do a bridge for me. I have to get a re-do of a root canal, and an extraction and implant both from two other specialists. Once he got mad at me about complaining about Selena, I cancelled ordering the night guard. He told me I could find another dentist and I replied, " I already made that decision (from his rude response to my complaint)."
About Hygienist: Cont. complaint: Dr. Cook told his hygienist to record on my account that I was "Terminated." His receptionist apologized to me for how he treated me. I was soooo happy that I did not pay him for the night guard. First he said a night guard for my top teeth was best. Then when I reminded him that I was having an extraction and implant on a top molar, he changed his opinion that a night guard for the bottom of my teeth would be better. I felt as if he just wanted to sell me something to make a sale at the time. The customer is always right. I am very relieved that he showed his true colors. My specialists have very king manners.

Dr. Cook and his staff made my experience pleasant. My smile has transformed from yellow teeth to bright, natural-looking teeth! Dr. Cook turned me into all smiles with veneers!
