Read Reviews for Dr. Sean Daniels
Very incompetent rookie.
Went in with a bad toothache. Got sold on a root canal. Had the procedure done on tooth #18. Pain persisted 2 weeks after the treatment. Came in to evaluate it again. Sean Daniels got impatient with my complaining (i was in real pain), gave up and Did a root canal on the tooth next to it (#19). He didn't even do a basic hot/cold temperature test to confirm the tooth.
We attempted to file a malpractice case against him. Long story short, other dentists agree, but will not turn against one of their kind. Case cancelled, two teeth are dead, pain still persists, and Daniels gets away with it...where's the justice in that? I even witnessed him alter the damn record while I was standing there! I compared it with a hardcopy that I found later and they didn't match! I figured I got him now, but there is no penalty for "updating" the record, even though it favors the dentist!
I refuse to pay for the 2nd root canal, but Daniels had the odacity to place me in collections, with no negotiated discount for mis-diagnosing the original problem. What a dishonest dentist.

I would give them no stars if yelp would allow me to. Dr.Daniel's has to be the least friendly dentist I have ever met. It honestly felt like because this would be the only time I would need a "specialist" that he did not have to take time to stop and be kind. To him I was there to get my tooth fixed, pay and get out. He was overly rough on my mouth the whole time from my shot through the whole root canal. Half way through my root canal I was feeling dizzy. (I tend to pass out and have seizures.) As soon as I said that he sat my chair up and walked out of the room like it was an inconvenience for him. I also asked the assistant to stay in the room just in case I did pass out but before I could finish my sentence she was gone too. If I had passed out I have no confidence they would've been any help. My tooth was so infected that he had to finish the root canal the next day and made me a 10am appointment. I arrived early just to be sat in the dental chair until 10:45 when the dentist finally decided to show up for work claiming he was late in traffic? A week after my root canal I started have an enormous amount of pain. My general dentist said it was probably because I did not finish my antibiotic and my infection was coming back and to call Dr.Daniels to get a new prescription or something stronger to kick the root canal infection. So as much as I did not want to deal with that office again I knew I had to call. When speaking to the dentist on the phone again he seemed very annoyed that he had to take the time to talk to me. He said that he does not give out antibiotics and that there was no way I could still be in pain. He asked what my pain scale was at and I said a 9 out of 10. Which I think most dentists would have recommended I come in to get it checked out but again that would've taken more of his time. He offered me vicodin and said to call him in a week if the pain was still there. Then he had the nerve to ask if I had a "pill" problem when all I asked for was some type of antibiotic to kill the infection and I did not even ask for pain pills. He finally decided on Penicillin and said they would call it into the pharmacy for me. Three hours later I sent my husband to CVS to pick it up and surprise they had not even called it in. When I called the dentist office in tears she assured me they called it in and it was just a mistake. Then my husband called and she told him she couldn't call it in because she did not have my birthday. If that were true she should've called and simply asked for it earlier. Anyway, I will never ever go back to them and I hope this review saves someone from the same crap I had to go through.

He wasnt very friendly nor informative of the procedure. He was arrogant when asking about my job and background. Maybe his ego was way over him, but I'm sure he sees people as dollar signs with little care for their comfort or well being. He wasnt gentle with the anesthesia needle, in fact, he was standing straight up when administering it when other dentists are normally seated. I felt pain during my root canal which he dismissed most of the time. Sometimes, he would just say, "oh you felt that?" After it was over, he left the room without saying anything. Ugh, he may have done the job but i was tensed up and in pain during the procedure. I wouldnt return to him. His receptionist on the other hand was nice.

I went to Dr. Daniels for a root canal and was told when I got there that I needed three root canals that they wanted me to pay for in advance ( even though they couldn't do them that day.) I had to ask about the process. He didn't talk to me the entire time I was there unless I asked a question.
A day later, the temporary filling came out and I could not get them to return my call to have it replaced.
Chances are I may have to get the root canal done again since the nerve will be exposed until i can find another dentist to fix it and there is a good chance it will get infected again. I will not be going back to Dr. Daniels.

I saw Dr. Daniels for an emergency root canal and found him caring and efficient. I'm usually very nervous about any dental work being done but was very relaxed and could almost sleep through the process.
I highly recommend Dr. Daniels as a endodontist.

This doctor has no consideration for the patient and how much pain and anxiety the patient is going through.
I had a bump in my mouth for a week because he injected so fast. The reason was he had to attend another patient and did a root canal in 15 minutes for me. Really aweful!

Dr.Daniels was very unprofessional and wouldn't know pain if it hit him in the face. I was in a lot of pain and he continued to drill my tooth without stopping -- he finally stopped because I was sobbing and wasn't able to stay still. His staff billed me anyway and tried to submit an insurance claim for treatment, even though treatment was not performed, nor completed. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He gives all endodontists a bad name -- you want to know why people hate root canals and think it's so painful? Get a root canal from Dr.Daniels!

Dr. Daniels whole office staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I went to him the first time for a retreat of a root canal after my own dentist could not find anything wrong. After the inital consult he fit me in the very next morning. The results were immediate and to date (6 mo. later) no problems.
My second trip was for a retreat of a front tooth apicoectomy. I had it done at 8am and was at work by 9:30. It is now 8 hours later and I have very little discomfort.
I have had very extensive dental work in the past 15 years and Dr. Daniels is the best . C. Mata
