He is very good dentist, gentle, interactive. Only negative is the oral surgeon (maybe they have a new one). Inensitive, like he's doing you a favor. I started going to a different type of dentist, but had I not decided to get different mode of dentistry, I would have stayed with Dr. Twersky and complained directly to him about his oral surgeon! Better overall dentist office/service than some others (2) I have tried in SF Valley.

About Hygienist: Hygienist little pushy in terms of recommending purchases of dental devices (to make her job easier), but she is thorough, does a good job. Gentle if reminded.

If you are looking for gentle and caring, this is not the dentist for you. On my initial visit for check-up and cleaning, I was anxious and felt intimidated and rushed. The cleaning was rough and I felt like I had taken a shower before it was over. It was also recommended that I have future 'deep cleanings." Deep cleanings had never been recommended to me before nor since. I returned to have a cavity filled and am not satisfied with the work. Not only was the injection of novacaine painful, but Dr. Twersky actually cut the side of my mouth with dental floss when finishing up. The cavity may be filled, but the gap between the two teeth is so great now that food gets caught. The facilities seem clean and the front office help is pleasant. But I have found a new dentist and would never recommend Dr. Twersky.
