Dr. Lewis replaced my two front crowns. He did a very poor job. The color shade was completely off, the crowns were very opaque and very bulky. I had a second opinion and the new dentist confirmed my fears. I've had to replace the crowns that Dr. Lewis did, with new crowns and had to reoccur all costs with no insurance. Dr. Lewis refused to refund my money as well as Rose Dental. Dr. Lewis did quickly offer to replace, but I did not have the confidence for him to redo the procedure. Rose Dental and Dr. Lewis are 2nd rate---please BEWARE!!!! Their customer service is also dreadful. I kept a call log and they never returned my calls. I have written 2 letters requesting a refund, with no response. My next letter will be a complaint to the Texas Board of Dental Examiners.

I have been going to see Dr. Lewis for about 6 years now and have always had a very positive experience. He is very attentive to patient concerns and takes measures to ensure comfort. He is also very easy to talk to... very pleasant and rarely in a hurry. He installed my crowns a few years ago and it was as good an experience I've had at the dentist. He did a very clean job with minimal discomfort. The hygenists I've had there have been great too. Very courteous and professional. Same goes for the front desk as well as billing, in fact, the billing process was one of the best I have experienced. Very easy people to work with and they will explain all your options in detail to ensure that you are happy. They are almost always on schedule, maybe a time or two when they were running behind, but nothing more than a few minutes.

AVOID MIKE LEWIS. I saw him due to severe dental pain. Dr. Lewis told me that there was nothing wrong with my teeth and the pain was probably due to a sinus infection, I asked for some pain relief and he said that if I was in real pain I wouldn't be able to come to the office and sit in the chair.I told him I had taken advil and it was not relieving the pain. His assistant took my blood pressure twice and the reading was 200/110.... I said this can't be right my BP has never been over 130/68. Dr.Lewis did not comment on my BP but told me to take Advil and come back in two weeks for a check up. He said if I was still in pain in two weeks he would suggest having my sinuses xrayed. I was in so much pain and worried about my BP reading that I called my Doctor. She saw me right away and said my BP was going through the roof due to pain. She gave me a prescriptin for painkillers and antibiotics and sent me for bloodwork and a sinus xray to determine if indeed it was a sinus infection.. I had a full xray done of my sinuses and they were clear. My doctor took my blood pressure the next day and due to the painkillers my blood pressure was down. She told me to find a new dentist. I saw another dentist who found a broken crown.

Dr. Mike Lewis and his dental office, Rose Dental Group, are inefficient and do not care about patients. During my last visit, Dr. Lewis showed up 45 minutes late, saw me and my X-ray films for about 60 seconds, spoke no more than 20 words to me, and left me to a nurse/assistant to discuss a very expensive treatment plan. He also ignored my ongoing pain. Not recommended.
