They provided me with an estimate of how much my insurance would cover. I figured the estimate was probably close enough (that's WHY they call your insurance beforehand, to provide you with as accurate info as possible). I did the procedure and a week or two later received a bill from them for $200. I asked them if they had in fact called my insurance before providing me with the estimate, and if they knew that less would be covered than expected. They said they did call, they knew that the insurance wouldn't cover what was stated in the estimate, but that I had signed something stating that I understood this was just an estimate. These people are SO dishonest and couldn't care less as long as they get their money. All other dentists I've ever been to made it clear up front what the insurance company would cover so that I could make an informed decision (for example, doing the procedure over a longer period of time if necessary). I've learned my lesson that it's my responsibility to call my insurance to verify that the information is correct, but still, they are careless and deceitful.

I had all of my teeth redone by dr. Kerbs. He did implants, root canals, extractions and fillings. He was very professional, highly skilled and did the work of two specialists. Needless to say I saved time and money by putting my care in his hands. Five star service. !! He is the most talented dentist in the south east valley.

Dr. Kerbs extracted teeth 7 and 10 and in so doing he also extracted the tissue and the bone from above these two teeth. The cost to repair this problem would have been an additional 3250.00. He took no responsibility for this, the reason this happened according to him, my genetic makeup, the fact that the teeth were bad and that I smoked. After an exhausting round with the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners, the charges against him were dismissed, and the Good Old Boys Club wins again. I would definitely not recommend this dentist to anyone, especially if they are fearful and need extensive work. In spite of his assurances that he overly educated and teeth come out easy etc etc. He obviously was not educated enough to handle the situation I presented with.
About Hygienist: The Hygienist that was present at the time of the extractions was quite nice and very pleasant. In fact as he was tugging and my head was going back and forth trying to extract these teeth, she apologized for me having to endure this and indicated how good a patient I was.

Dr. Kerbs is a graduate of Virginia Common Wealth University dental school, one of the best in the country. He is a young dentist with experience who has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry. Besides genral dentistry, orthodontics and cosmetic surgery is available.
Both Dr. Kerbs and his assistants carefully listen to their patients and exercise the greatest care to minimize discomfort and anxiety while providing quality treatment utilizing the latest technolgies. In fact, Dr. Kerbs technician Carlos , can convey diagnosis and treatment information better than most Dentists I have had prior to Dr. Kerbs.
Prior to Dr. Kerbs i was treated by one of the most renowned and experienced Dentists in the metropolitan Phoenix area. When he moved, I was surprised to find the young Dr. Kerbs his equal.I highly recommend Dr. Eric Kerbs.
