I recieved an offer from a new dentist office called vital dent for a free exam and cleaning. I had just moved to NYC and thought I would take advantage of it. However when I got there I found the place very odd. There was no receptionist to sign in with or anything. Just a super minimalistic office. Eventually someone emmerged to help but I felt a bit more like I was waiting for a job interveiw than at a doctors office. The brought me back several times to different rooms always taking different kind of xray or measurement of my mouth. And never introduced me to who the dentist actually was. At one point a person examining me shouted out lots of numbers and jargon to another who was writting it down. I was then brought into a room with another person who told me how bad my teeth were and tried to sell me on a payment plan to for fillings and teeth whitening. When I told them I was not ready to sign up for the payment plan today I was then told I would have make another appointment for the free cleaning.
