My daughter and I went through a horrific experience at this practice. She originally went there because of a fall and two broken teeth. After the cosmetic repair, we did agree to a follow up when they found cavities and stressed how badly she needed a cleaning. My daughter was lied to then as the office told her I was fine with the cost of that work when they had actually never told me. The day of the fillings and cleaning, the office called me to authorize a credit card payment and this is when I first learned of the actual cost, which I expected to be higher in NYC, but not more then three times higher than what we pay here in CT, I called back to cancel and was told it was too late, they had already started the work. My daughter was in the next room and could hear the entire phone conversation. Nothing had started; she didn’t even have a bib on, the dentist had not even come into the room yet, as she was out with the receptionist. One of the cavities was deep that they filled-she was never offered Novocain before drilling (she is considered fairly high pain tolerant) and she said she was in so much pain, she almost had to stop the dentist .I was told how badly her gums were swollen; there was a lot of bleeding during the cleaning, how the hygienist had to spend extra time with the cleaning and also had to give my daughter instructions on proper brushing. All not true. The hygienist said everything looked fine. My daughter did require root canal on one of the broken teeth-which we had done in CT. We asked for her x-rays and files to be sent, which were never sent until another phone call was made moments before her visit. Only the x-rays were sent to my daughter’s phone as a small jpeg from “ragingflame”-nothing identifying neither the doctor’s office nor patient’s name on the film. My daughter asked the office numerous times to “cc” me on any emails that were sent to her from the office which was never done. I had to ask numerous times for copies of the receipts of the credit card transactions and was even asked by the office, “Why do you want those”. I was told their prices were higher because of the location (Park Avenue). It also took several phone calls to get anything done, I was blatantly lied to by the staff, and for their office telling me they had sent a claim to my health insurance as we might be able to recoup some of the cost under dental trauma…I have yet to see where a claim has even been filed.

I've been going to her for years, she is great, I've never had any problems or issues, sometimes her office is busy, and you have to wait a few minutes to see her (or at least her old office was, she is now over at her new location, Park Ave Dental Med) but I've never waited more than ten minutes or so to get in and see her, and she handles emergencies on the weekends, which is nice.

My biggest gripe with them was that they have absolutely NO REGARD FOR THEIR PATIENT'S TIME. My first visit was for your typical checkup and teeth cleaning. My appontment was for 12:00 and they had me wait in the reception area until 12:45. An other patient upon leaving complained to the receptionist that they should do something about their scheduling as well. I should have taken that as a clear signal that they don't have it all together there. I just thought that perhaps their office was having a bad day. Her staff x-rayed my teeth and then I met Dr. Mansoor. She seemed nice but at the end of my appointment, she had me signed up for an expensive crown (turns out the crown isn't avsolutely necessary, but I felt pushed into getting one), she assumed that I would literally have the rest of the day to spend in their office to have a crown done... instead, I scheduled another appointment for the following week, I wasted 2 hours at the her office that day without a check-up nor teeth cleaning.
The icing on the cake comes at the next appointment. They had me wait for 30 minutes and then they sit me down and they kindly tell me that Dr. Mansoor is not in! Why the heck did they have me wait in the first place!?! Enough said

I visited this dentist because of location and insurance. I was in pain. when I called they informed me I needed to have x rays done first followed by the hygienist . That was fine, until the person began to try to sell me on whitening my teeth. I explained that I wanted to be pain free before I thought about teeth whitening. I was not too happy about that, they seemed to be selling . The hygienist (turns out was a temp) was telling me I had a cavity. When I finally met the dentist, a long time later, she said that was not the case.....
I had 2 crowns done and they cost more than other practices because she likes to use all porcelin although when I got second opinions most dentist do not since they seem too fragile. That may be a matter of opinion , what i will say is in the middle of the procedures she has an assistant come in for full payment. Right when you are in the middle of it. so if you are in pain or cant talk too bad pay up....I also felt money was the main factor when they charge me for copies of xrays. In the end I do have a problem with one of the crowns.
