Dr. Van is a highly skilled, thorough, and focused professional. At the same time is she is compassionate, gentle, and very personable w/ a solid sense of humor. She will help you relax by explaining everything much, much better than other dentists do. Because she has her own small practice, she does almost all the dental hygienist work by herself. Her business seems to be growing, so you may have to wait a while for an appointment - but it's well worth it.

Dr. Van is soft-spoken and gentle but will always be firm when it comes to telling you what is best for your teeth. She clearly and patiently explains your diagnosis and proscribes honest, simple procedures that are in your best interest. At other clinics, almost all work is done by a hygienist; not at Dr. Van's clinic. She does almost all work by herself, only using a hygienist for things like x-rays and polishing. Instead of making a mountain out of molehill, she will take immediate action to fix minor dental problems. One time I had her detect a cavity and fill it, all in the span of about a half hour.
