I have been a patient of this Doctor for several years and have refered him to my friends. We have all had very good results and are still using and refering him.
About Hygienist: She has really soft hands.

I have to say, I'm sorry about your experience, but it seems like your primary concern was the money. Dentistry is not cheap in general, especially if the dentist uses the best materials and options for your needs, as Dr.Dichter does. I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Dichter for many years, even before he moved in to his new practice here in Portland. My wife and I travel from the coast to see this wonderful doctor, and she just had 3 crowns done and some fillings there, now her smile is complete and beautiful. The commute is pretty long, but it is worth it. All of our experiences in doctor Dichter's office have been nothing but pleasant. The atmosphere in the office is very calming. Dr.Dichter is always professional and attentive. He never works on more than one patient at the same time, as some of the dentists nowadays do. The staff have been there since day one, to me, that says something, and they are also warm and knowledgeable. Over the years I have personally recommended Dr. Dichter to my family and friends at least a dozen times and I will keep doing that. He its a top doc.

I became a patient of Dr. Dichter's not long after I arrived in Portland. I was actually referred to him by co-workers who are also patients and recommended him. My experience with Dr. D has always been exceptional. He's very patient, answers all my questions, is always very nice and the fillings he's done are perfect! I've never had any problems.

Horrible bed side manor. Highly over-priced and poor work. Did two crowns and would not fix one that kept bothering me. Charged me extra to come in and have the crown ground down. I felt cheated and very angry about the way I was treated by him and his secretary. If he is your Dentist, get out now!
