Amazingly gentle and considerate, always concerned about my comfort and pain levels. His perfectionist attitude made my smile transform from boring to fabulous without breaking the bank. He worked with my insurance company well. He's not bad to look at either. I highly recommend him and his office.
About Hygienist: I generally have who's ever available, sometimes it's the doctor himself. I've been pleased with them all.

Dr. Smith is deeply committed to his patients and reflects this commitment with a friendly, professional, personal approach to his patients. Although he is extremely serious about doing the best work for his patients, his "bedside" manner is relaxed and disarmingly casual. He would be an excellent choice for people who are dentist-phobic. He takes a long-view approach to dental problems, and is holistic in his view of drawing connections between problem areas and creating integrated solutions. This means calling in a specialist (periodonist) when needed. He's not afraid to work as a team with a specialist to bring the best care to a patient. I've never had a bad hygienist in this office, although there appears to be quite a lot of turn-over. Dr. Smith's billing practices are fair and sympathetic, and payment plans are available. He doesn't pretend that dental care in New York is affordable, but will always spell out the costs of a procedure beforehand. I respect his honesty and approachability.

I felt that Dr. Smith did as little as necessary to get me out the door at the end of a cleaning. Although he and his staff were very nice, there were some billing issues, with my insurance being billed for xrays that i never received.
