Dr. Riley came recommended from coworkers, and I was very happy with his dentistry. He is a genuinely kind, gentle dentist who cares about his patients. He diagnosed my pain and suggested non-intervention treatments before costly procedures. I used a periodontal rinse which cleared up my gum sensitivity and therefore, avoided a possible root canal. Unfortunately, the office receptionist/manager was very difficult to deal with around billing my insurance company. She gave me wrong information about coverage, and I agreed to procedures that were more costly than I realized. I found her demeanor with patients and Dr. Riley to be authoritarian as opposed to professional. While I would whole heartedly recommend Dr. Riley, I can not recommend it as a stress-free dental office experience.

overall, i've had good experiences w/ dr. riley and now w/ dr. simmons (sp?). ms. jackson at the front desk is incredibly friendly and helpful w/ insurance issues (although i've had some claims come back not totally paid - probably an insurance issue???) my first time there i had a hygienist who was very friendly. but i felt that the last time i was there, the hygienist was perhaps inexperienced and didn't pay too much attention to what she was doing.

Billing and insurance was a nightmare with this dentist. I should have had no responsibility to pay for a general cleaning with my insurance. It took us multiple calls to the dentist and insurance companies to straighten out the offices billing mistakes.

Dr. Riley is sweet and is really great to work with, but his admin has an attitude! I am switching dentists before of this attitude!
