Had his hygienist do the job of a professional !
it was clear I didn't understand the process and thought a root planning was a deep cleaning!
She botched the job and did the other side to try and cover it !!!
About Front Desk: Deceptive business practice
About Hygienist: Incompetent and dangerous

Dr. Stickney is very patient. He will one day step down and let his son James take over the practice. I had general cleanings done there, exams, root canals and front veneers. My teeth were getting bad(user error I know,I know) but he made my front teeth look really nice. I wanted them whiter than my bottoms which can look butt ugly at times.
I do not like the newest lady that deals with financing though, she wanted to talk me into financing that I was not comfortable with.
About Hygienist: ok at best.
I know this doctor: 1 year

The best dental experience (bar none) I've ever had! I've been seeing Dr. Stickney for 1 year. My last four years I've gone from dentist to dentist in an effort to restore my teeth and get rid of all the mercury in my mouth. I had extensive decay as a young child and had a mouth full of teeth that were in constant pain and filled with mercury. Rick is so kind and gentle that I no longer need to be sedated to have dental work. The work he has done in my mouth is pain free - immediately after the novicaine wears off. He has state of the art techniques to prevent damage to the tooth root, and he is extraordinarily patient with me. Since January I've had 4 crowns and 2 composite fillings. I feel confident that the work he has done is as permanent as any work could be. His techniques include: slowing the drill to prevent the tooth from becoming overheated - thus preventing root damage and root canals; special laser lights to disinfect the tooth beneath the crowns and fillings; multiple, thin layers of composite to prevent the release of hormone disrupting cancer causing chemicals that can result when incomplete curing occurs with composite fillings; and a special paint to detect decay so he removes it all. So Great!!!!

A visit to Dr. Rick is not like any dental appointment you ever had. He is very welcoming, GENTLE, and extremely informed. An excellent technician and a good guy. There is never any doubt about the quality of work.
